May 2002
Well, hello. Still, I come to you from Chicago, only now I'm not such in a great mood. I've recently come across a fact that I really wish that I had not. All of this just happened last night too, and, in a really small period of time, not giving me much time to react to it. So, because of this, I'm pissed off. It's been a long while since I've been this pissed off. I really wish that I could overlook all of this, but, it's pretty centralized around myself. Good gawd, I'm really pissed. I mean, daaaamn. Shit! I went to the Art Institute up here yesterday. That was pretty badass. I had a great time doing that. I got to see "American Gothic." That was something. I think that even with all of the good things that have come out of this trip, the rest of the stuff that is pissing me off has basically brought it back down to normal. It had been an exceptional time, but, I can't even get the time of day out of some people. Also, I'll be having some new Writings up pretty soon, so, if you're in the mood, you should check this junk out. So, I'm out for now. Take it easy and try and keep it unreal.  -daniel  written on 5.19.02 So, I went to a lackluster show at The Gate last night. It was long and boring. I did like Gut Feeling though. Afterwards, I went to Wal-Mart to get me some cheese flavored snacks. I went to check-out and the guy looked up at my hair and smiled. He gave me my change and I politely thanked him. He told me to have a good evening and smiled. I told him the thing and smiled back. I wasn't feeling too great up to that point, but, the smile just rejuvenated a good feeling inside of me. I also picked up a Danny Tenaglia album yesterday as well. It's fantastic. I got home last night to find that my parents had returned from their trip. I do believe that they returned prematurely though. I was gonna have one last night alone in the house and rock out hard, but, I didn't get the chance to. And because of that, I'm now rocking out very hard in my room. I gots my computer hooked up to my stereo, so, I'm listening to all of the music that I've DLed over the past year. Most of you people would think that the music that I have sucks. In fact, you might even think that my music has no substance. I say to that: The music that I listen to, has enough substance for me. That's all there is to it. Heh heh heh. Anyway, not alot is going on right now. I ordered DDR the other day and I should be getting that soon. If you see me at the mall, we should play. Keep it unreal.  -daniel  written on 5.30.02
Alright. I'd like to first start off by apologizing for misleading all of you faithful readers. I was going to update awhile back, but, as you may or may not know, the best internet connection I can get at my house is 14.4kbps. So, with that connection, I can't really do anything from out there. It sucks, but, whatever. Anyway, I transported my computer from my home up to my mom's store for you "fans." Well, the past few days have just been, well, quite amazing. Nothing big has happened, I just re-realized the other day that I life is too short to be pissed off all of the time. I was just listening to some Paul Oakenfold and I just totally realized that I was at peace with the world. I still am. I just thought of my surroundings and everything, and it was just all good. I made it back from Chicago safely. That was an awesome trip, regardless of the shit that went down. In fact, why don't you check out the Humour page and read a little something cool. I found it to be funny anyway. Gamis played their second show at The Gate on Tuesday evening and that went over quite well. It sounded alot better than at the other venue they played at. I started working out on wednesday. I think that it's going quite well. Somehow I able to run/jog my fat, out of shape body .5 miles, without stopping. I was damn impressed. Well, until next time, which will probably be soon, keep it unreal.  -daniel  written on 5.24.02
Last night, I went up to the mall to play the painfully addictive DDR, only to find that it was swamped. I had gotten there about 20 minutes before the mall closed, hoping to play, but there were too many people. I'd say about 10 or so. What's that? 10 people should be done in about 10-15 minutes, you say? Well, if they're good, and they were, then they could play upwards of 6-7 minutes. Anyway, I wasn't too depressed. I saw a new technique used to play the game, so, ya' know, you learn something new every day. I enjoyed just watching. This is how much I love this game. This is why I bought the game. I had a good time afterwards though. I went back to Leah's house to chill out, then we all went to Sonic. Slowly, people started to filter out of there, leaving Jamie Na and myself there to wait for the return of BJ, Cody, and Samo. As we did this, a van drove by, that contained two ladies, and I hear, "Bye Daniel!!!" eminating from inside of the van. I quickly turn to try and see who it was, but, I knew not. Luckily, a car hop at Sonic knew them, so, I got in the know, somewhat. These were two girls that had just graduated and were also two girls that I had never conversed with in high school. They hadn't seen me in a year, in addition to the hair and earrings, I don't know how in the hell they recognized me. It was odd, but, I can't complain. I got a look from some ladies. Keep it unreal.

Well, I've just learned some troubling news from my buddy over at BurntKid. Apparently, our Fun Weekend 2.0 may be marred by an invitation to someone, that isn't particularly welcome. I would think that we'd keep the same format as usual, but, noooo. Someone just had to go and change the regular Thad, Pat, Fuji, Adam, and myself. It irritates me that someone would just invite another person without talking it over with the other participants. I know what katie was feeling on that one weekend. Bwoy, did that ever suck, with the uninvited one. I want to shoot that motherfucker. I have my reasoning. Anyway, onto a happier topic. WE HAVE AN AWESOME GAME AT THE CENTRAL MALL ARCADE!!! I never thought that it could happen, but, it has. Dance Dance Revolution has somehow made it to Fort Smith, Arkansas. I played it last night. It's the 4th mix. IT only costs $.50 too. If you're good enough, you can get three rounds out of that 50 cents. I am good enough and I got three rounds of "dancing" out of that game. I was damn tired after two, but, that was only because I put it on Europe Rave Speed. I walked away with jelly legs and a forming blister, but it was worth every bit of it. I also got some new clothing, so, you may want to be on the lookout for me in my new threads.  Okay, well, I'm done for now.  Keep it unreal.
