May 2002
Another day, another, ummm, night? Anyway, I'm just here in one of the many computer labs on campus, listening to Antiloop, and updatin' the ol' site. I've recently signed up for a beginner .html course next semester, so, I may be coming back at ya' with a totally new look. Perhaps........ professional looking sites? If that's the case, then I could actually make all of the sites I've created, not look like s***. So, what all is new 'round here? I've become an Resident Assisstant for the upcoming semester. That's correct people. I will be in a role with much power and influence. Run for the hills, you scream? I think not. I'm quite the responsible one, when it comes to that sort of thing. YOU DON'T KNOW ME!!! ASS!!! Mark Johnson needs to have an APB put out on the JG. I do know that. Good lord. I have 10 days until I am done with my first year of college. How f***ed up is that? I'm ready for the suh-suh-summer. Chicago, New Orleans, Boston, NYC, LA....these are all possible. And oh yes, I will be going to at least two of them. Well, I'm missing Andy Griffith right now, so, I believe that I'm gonna try and get back to my room in time to see at least some of it. I also need to study for a test that I have tomorrow. Stupid Intro to Music. What a lame class. Cool teacher, but, a really lame class. Keep it unreal. -daniel  written on 5.3.02 Hello again. This is my second update on the 9th of May, so, you may wish to check out the first one here. Due to an overwhelming lack of response to my home page, it will be shut down at the end of this month. Thanks folks. Onto happier things now. I have the quote for The Quote of the Day up already and you can read it here. It's a good one. It actually involves the nice lady to your right, in the bottom corner of the picute, assuming you're looking at the group photo and not the Jet Grind Radio or Montel picture. Do check it. Well, I am now done with school and I'm ready for the partAy to begin. Okay, well, there probably won't be many partAys, but, you get the idea. And if you don't, well then, you're SOL. Mail me folks. I'm all about reading stuff. Mail me some funny things and I'll put them up. Don't forward me s*** though. I hate that stuff. I've also almost had enough of the damn surveys. Do I really need/want to know about Jack shaving his crotch.....on a regular basis? I mean, c'mon. No, but really, mail me stuff, because it's summer time and I no longer have school to keep me occupied. Also, check out Gamis because they got some news on their "Unofficial" site. Upcoming shows and whatnot. Well people, do keep in touch and I look forward to seeing many faces this summer. Most of which, I'm sure, will be yours. Keep it unreal. For now, courage.

Well, I've most recently become a part of rural Arkansas. Not only did I drive through it yesterday, for the hell of it, but, I also got my hair cut last night. Now, what is the haircut that you associate with rural Arkansas? A mullet, you say? I would imagine that you are also saying, "daniel would never get a mullet." Ah, but you would be mistaken. I now have a mullet. I have taken after Justin Fuji and Ben McCartney, but, at a much slower pace. My hair has been getting quite a nice response as well. I'm thinking that this one girl in the library that was making copies didn't like it too much, but, that's her deal, not mine. I do hate the computers in the library though. They suck really, really bad. They are unbelievably slow and they lock up about every other time. I just plain hate computers. Hockey is going mad crazy. Teams that did nothing towards the end of the playoffs are doing everything imaginable this season. And what about the Sharks and Avalanche averaging 9.5 goals a game for the first two games of their series? That's just inconceivable. I'm loving it all though. Even if my Blues happen to not win, I'm not disheartened. I just know that I have two more series after that to look forward to, so, I won't fret. I'm done for now. Check out Jack's site sometime, it's on my links page. Keep it unreal.  -daniel  written on 5.06.02
Whoa whoa whoa, people, you've taken my "home page" a little wrong. The entire site is not going away, just the "home page." See, if I had meant the entire site, I would have put "website," instead of "home page." So, yeah, don't worry about it. It's just that no one cares to look at my home page and see the funny pictures that I provide for the people, so, I'm gonna rid myself of it. I'll just save you people precious SECONDS. Anyway, I got my hair dyed and my ears pierced. So far, I've gotten quite the welcome response from the people that I know. Well, everyone except for my parents. They've kind of freaked out about both the green hair and the piercings. They seem to think that I'm going to "grow out of it." I don't know what their deal is though. I think that it's the fact that they've never really done anything crazy in their entire lives and I think that it's caught up with them. It's that whole, "We didn't have any fun, so, you don't deserve to either," thing. I just don't know and I really don't care. This is merely the way I happen to be expressing myself at this point in time. I also happened to have bought the worst video game ever produced: ET The Extra Terrestrial, for the Atari 2600. I am unable to play it, so, if you happen to have an Atari 2600 sitting around, let me know. I want to see what all of the commotion is about. Well, like a fat kid in a game of dodgeball, I'm out. -daniel     written on 5.14.02
Well well well, here it is, about 4.5 hours before my last final and I'm taking the time out to give you people more. "Professional athletes. Always wantin' more." But, I am glad to do it. I know that you people like to read about the craziness in my life, otherwise, I wouldn't have over 1600 hits. Anyway, I still have the mullet and I must say that the people love it. Maybe it's because they're crazy Arkansans or maybe it's because it's a bada** haircut. Sadly, the doo will be no more after 2.30 today. I know what you are thinking, "Oh, I won't get to see it." I do believe that I will have a picture of it sometime soon, if my buddy Schink can get around to it. So, I have about 6 hours until I'm done with school and it's not a moment too soon. I am so ready for summer. I am sure that you all know about my summer, so, I'll spare you, and if you don't, read about it in the Archives page. A new development has arisen though. Instead of leaving for Chicago on the 15th, it seems as though I may be leaving on the 13th, in hopes of seeing yet another Blues game. Only this time, it would be against the Detroit Red Wings in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. That would just be too sweet. I'd even be with two friends again, only, they'd be ladies. Heh heh heh. No no no, nothing like that. Sicko. Anyway, keep it unreal and as always, Much 'luv.   -daniel   written on 5.09.02
Oh, cruel fate, why do you mock me? Ah yes, Homer said it best. Well, I come to you straight from Chicago now. I must tell you that this place is the shizzit. I've seen it before, in places like NYC and D.C., but, I've never actually gotten to go outside of the bustling metropolis because tour guides just assume that no one wants to see all of that stuff. The town outside of the tall buildings is what really makes the town. I love it out here. I really, really do. The big city is the life for me. I will always compare any town that I am in, to Chicago for the rest of my life. So, if you happen to be riding with me, just prepare for comparisons. The people that I'm staying with rock the hizzouse and they don't give me any weird looks, like some other parents that I know. Hmmm, who in the f*** could I be talking about? Oh, I'm sure that you can all tell. I cannot even think of a better way to start out my summer vacation. So, I've accomplished 25% of tasks for this summer, already, and I'm only a week out of school. Fanf***ingtastic. Wow. I still cannot believe that I am actually here in the Windy City. I'm watching Big with my most excellent hostess right now. Can it get any better? Oh wait, I know how, but, you never ever will. Alright, well, I'm out of shit to say, so I will wrap this up now. You all take it good and easy. Much 'luv. -daniel  written on 5.15.02
