June 2002
And the 2000th hit was made by.....Lauren Ruffino.  Lauren who?  I met this lovely person during my brief stint in Germany.  She resides in New Orleans, but is enrolled in the University of Colorado.  Odd, no?  Well, learn more about her on her site.  Okay, onto new bidness.  I sit here, at work, fixing my site, doing jack s***.  I've had to work all of about 5 minutes so far.  Oh sure, it sounds like lovely work, but, it gets mighty boring.  Fun Weekend 2.0 is coming up fast.  It's this weekend, actually.  It is gonna be a blast.  Two weeks after that, I'll be attending the Warped Tour and then the day after that, I'll be in New Orleans.  Sounds like a good time to me.  Lots of driving though.  Well worth the effort.  I had to get up at 9 this morning.  It wouldn't have been too bad, but, I went to bed at 5.  I'm doing remarkably well though.  I'm only the slightest bit tired.  I had some Hardee's for breakfast, to help me keep going.  It was good stuff.  *yawn*  So, I got 6 hours of sleep, three nights ago, 7.5 hours two nights ago, and 4 last night(if I was lucky).  I'm not doin' so hot.  I mean, this is summer vacation.  I should be sleeping for about 13 hours at a time.  I can't do that anymore.  My damn body won't let me.  My sleeping patterns have not gotten too out of control though.  The latest that I've gotten up is 3. That was fantastic too.  I rolled over, picked up the remote, and BOOM.  Andy Griffith.  It was a good day.  Keep it unreal.  -daniel  written on 6.08.02 "Holy f*** daniel!!!  What the hell have you been doing?!?!" you ask?  I haven't updated in a week now and I'm sorry.  I was out of town from the 14th through the 17th and then I've just been lazy.  I haven't been doing much.  Fun Weekend 2.0 blew much ass and then I f***ed up my foot on tuesday.  I re-f***ed it up today, playing more DDR.  Oh well, I suppose that my gameplay made up for it.  I got a 98 Combo and over 2 million points on that stage.  I was rockin'.  Fuji and Jack came over to play along with me and they improved by leaps and bounds.  I saw Gamis, Curbside Service, and Welton perform last night.  Seeing those three bands cost me a mere $3.  I was happy.  Gamis seems to think that they owe me something for borrowing the trailer.  You guys don't owe me a damn thing.  I was just helping a group of friends out.  I'm just watching The Daily Show now, killing some time, updating my site for you folks.  I'm going to miss my Audiogalaxy.  I loved that site.  That place gave me ~5GB of music over the past year.  That site widened my music horizon.  I loved it.  It will be missed.  I will be attending Warped Tour in Dallas, on the 28th of this month.  After that, I'll be going to New Orleans.  That should be a bada** trip.  My hostess is a nice, lovely lady.  I look forward to it very much.  Okay, well, I guess that I'm out of things to say for now.  Spread the word.  The Mulletin Board is running well.  Read a little. US vs. Germany, 6 am, Friday.  -daniel  written on 6.20.02
I had a long day yesterday.  Saturday was the longest day that I've had in awhile.  It was more strenuous than that non-stop drive back from Chicago.  After work, I went to eat out with my parents because I'm a good son.  I had me some enchiliadas and then I drove back into Fort Smith.  I went to The Gate, for what I thought would be my last time.  I just hadn't been inspired to go back, after the last shitty show.  Last night rocked the house though.  Rocket 350 and High School Hellcats just kicked major a**.  Rockabilly and All-Female Punk just made my day.  Those f***ing punk kids were all jumping around and s*** again, upsetting people.  Justin Fuji got whacked by one of 'em, so Adam stepped in and punched the guy that did it.  Mad props to Adam for that.  Fuji also came through for me by burning a cd for me.  I mixed this bada** music and he put it on a compact disk so that I may listen to it in my car.  Thank you Mr. Fuji.  Before I got back to my home, I stopped along a back road to sit and watch a storm off in the distance.  It was so awesome.  I could see every single lightning strike occurring.  When I got home, I began watching more of that World Cup Soccer junk.  I went to sleep at about 5 am or so, woke up at 9.40, went to "shake the dew off the lily," then went back to sleep until 4.08.  I thought that it was probably time to get up at that point, so, I did.  Also, I was disappointed with the movie Castaway.

Something something something.  Well, I'm sitting here, watching some World Cup soccer.  The US is out of it now, but, that's cool.  It's not like they were ever heavily favored.  I was damn surprised that they got out of group play.  Anyway, my foot seems to heal quickly.  I was on my feet, playing DDR again today.  I cannot get away from that damn game.  It's addicting.  Just ask BJ.  Yeah, BJ was playing it.  He wasn't doing too bad either.  I stayed up to watch that USA/Germany match last night and I got up just in time for Andy Griffith.  It was great.  I only got about 7 hours of sleep too, which was even better.  Too much sleep is bad for a person.  It be only one week now until Warped Tour.  I'm looking forward to it.  I'm running out of s*** to say, fast.  Fun Weekend 2.0 sucked.  There was too much bickering, smoking, and drinking.  It just wasn't very much fun.  I guess I was just hyping it too much.  This World Cup match(Korea vs. Spain) is intense.  They are into the Golden Goal time.  Oh wow!  Spain just hit the post.  So intense.  I know that my good friend Catherine is watching this at 4.39 in the a.m., right now, with her being Korean and whatnot.  So, it's looking to go into PKs.  I patiently wait for the winner.  So, Korea pulls it off in PK fashion, 5-3.  Way to knock off Spain.  You are now the team that I am rooting for.  Keep up the good work. Okay, well, I suppose that I'm out of things to say, as of now.  Keep it unreal.  Much 'luv.  -daniel   written on 6.22.02
Ha.  I do nothing all day and you're jealous.  Please don't say this.  If you ever utter those words to me, I will punch you.  I am so damn bored it is not even funny.  Even my new DDR, WHICH IS SO COOL, can't completely combat the boredom.  I would get a job, but, with all of the time I would need off to do things, no one would hire me.  Also, another reason that I don't have a job is not because I get money from my parents.  If you think that, then, that's highly uncool.  I'm merely a person that can handle his money quite well.  I'll have you know, that I saved up enough money from my job in the middle of 11th grade, to last me well into the summer before college.  I then got another large sum of money for my scholarship at the beginning of last year, so, don't even go and think that I get money from mommy and daddy whenever I want it.  Fun Weekend 2.0 is almost upon us.  In fact, in less than 40 hours, it will have begun.  I am excited, as I'm sure that many of you are.  Well, at least those that are participating anyway.  June 12th, 2002 has got to be the most boring day of my summer so far.  Oh well, I suppose that I'll live.  That World Cup stuff rocked my world last night.  Those PKs are killer.  Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals is tonight at 7pm CST, on ABC.  F***ING *ISNEY!!!  You all should know my beef with *isney, and if you don't, I'll hook you up with why.  So, yeah, Mulletin Board and Answer This. Just do it, 'aight? Much 'luv. -daniel written on 6.14.02
So, I gave my feet a rest today and didn't play any DDR.  It was nice.  I was awoken by a phone call this morning.. well, afternoon and I was mad because I thought that I was going to miss Andy Griffith, but, I realized that it was saturday afterwards and everything was cool.  It was a nice chat that I had.  Then I had to go buy some milk for my cereal because I was all out.  Luckily, I found some spare change lying around my home and I had enough to eat.  I was very happy.  I went back home and played some GTA 3.  I've gotten the thing up to 83% complete.  I was actually able to save it this time too.  The last time I got it that high, I was running to go save it and the damn thing locked up.  I don't know how I'm going to be able to get the next 17%, but, I'll do it.  I'm gonna be an eskimo.  You watch me, sucker.  Anyway, Then I killed the rest of my night, at the store, fixin' up the site to make it more appealing.  I tried to make it as appealing as myself, but, it's physically impossible.  I mean, just look at me.  Heh heh.  I crack myself up.  I also watched some MadTv, SNL, and talked with some people.  One of them was even nice enough to call me. How sweet. On Monday, the site will hopefully look like nothing you've seen before, here at Freakass.com. I have to work all damn day for my mom, so, I've got 8.5 hours to kill.  If you get the chance to, swing on by and we'll rap.  Barring anything sudden, I'm out.  Keep it unreal and much 'luv to you.  -daniel  written on 6.23.02
