12/16:Howdy ya'll!!! I have some very exciting news -- LEDBETTER JUST HAD OUR FIRST GIG!!!! EEEEEKKKK!!!! I'm giddy as a school girl! Well, to make a long story short, it was at the Allegany Variety Show, and it was awesome. In my totally unbiased opinion, we pretty much stole the show. Although there was another band on a few bands after us called Bojango that was pretty good, and they played the same song as us! But we got over it and there was much jamming at the end of the show. It was great. And on other fronts, check out the new gigography section. Rumor has it that it's (and I quote) "neat". Peace ya'll. Ledbetter: Giggin'.
GIT ON BACK NOW!!!
12/24: Good evening. Thought I'd type in a few words before the holiday season hits in full force. It is the calm before the storm, believe me. As for Ledbetter, it's just plain calm. We shall be taking the holiday off before (hopefully) starting on some new stuff and playing live more. We've done it once now and I'm an addict. They need a Live Musicians Anonymous. Hello, my name is Matt, I have a playing live music problem. Yeah...........I'm really tired so I'm just gonna ramble for a while now....blah blah blah....ffffffffrrrrrrpppppppttttttt...... Anyhoo, happy holidays to one and all, I wish peace, and love, and harmony to all. Ledbetter: All you need is love (and music).
12/27:Hello. Wow, I think this is the one time ever that I've updated this site during the daytime hours. It's like not even 4 o'clock yet. Wow. Anyhoo, I hope everyone had a happy Xmas/ Hanukkah/ Kwanzaa/ whatever. I did, I got a 'lectric guitar!!! WHOOHOO!!! In Ledbetter news, we're probably not going to be doing much, as Ian is out of town. But Mike and I might get together and jam sometime in the next few days. He got a new drumset, so we can both wear in our new instruments at the same time. It'll be a group thing! Yay! And totally in a non-gay way. Not that there's anything wrong with that, we just....aren't. No offense to anyone I swear! Ledbetter: Not gay.
1/18: Howdy folks! No more gay jokes this time, I swear. Anyway, I hope ya'll are doing well in this brand-spankin new year. And new millenium for that matter, 'cause this is the year the millenium REALLY turned. Well, I just got back from Los Angeles, where I spent five fine days. It's very nice, and I could have gone to see John Lee Hooker at the H.O.B. but it was not to be. I'm pretty sure that myself and the fine people in this band will play some music sometime in the next couple days, I would like to hope so anyway. You know, funk up da backbeat a little bit. In the meantime, peace out yo. Ledbetter: Music for a New Millenium (cue Superman music)
1/20: Hey ya'll, just wanted to say that I just updated the Gear section in honor of the inauguration of Dubyah, aka George W. Bush. Actually, not really, I just updated it because we got some new stuff. See you on the flipside.
2/25: Hi. Sorry it's been a while, I've been a busy guy. Anyway, today was a prolific day for 3/4s of Ledbetter. Mike unfortunately wasn't involved in the festivities, but me, Ian, and Chris played acoustic-style in my basement today. And boy howdy! We wrote two songs today. Or one as a group anywy, I wrote one on my own. The one we wrote as a group, which rocked, I have no idea what it's called as Ian was still working on it when he left. The song I wrote is called "Over Now". It's groovy. Hopefully we can perfect them as a group soon. Also in Ledbetter news, I hope to have Chris' info up soon. Peace until then. Ledbetter: Good on bread, better on crackers.
