Phi Beta Lambda Pledge
I solemnly promise to uphold
the aims and responsibilites of Phi Beta Lambda,and, as an active member
I shall strive to develop the qualities necessary in becoming a resonsible
business leader.
Preparing Indiviuals For Tomorrow's Business Today
Phi Beta Lambda is an educational
association of students who are preparing for careers in business and business-related
fields within the work force.
What does PBL do?
Develop competent, aggressive
business leadership.Acquire communication and problem-solving skills.Strengthen
student's confidence.Create more interest in understanding of American
business enterprise. Encourage scholarship and promote loyalty.Promote
the establishment of career goals.Facilitate the transition from school
to the work force.
Purpose of Phi Beta Lambda
The purpose is to provide
opportunity for post-secondary students to develop business-related competencies.
PBL is an intergral part of the instructional program and also promotes
a sense of civic and personal responsibility. PBL members participate in
local, state and national competitions.
What Phi Beta Lambda can do for you:
Participation in PBL has
a direct impact in the direction and success of your career. Thousands
of students learn through PBL memberships about the works of business and
what is expected of them in the workplace.
By taking an active role
in chapter activities, members meet business representatives before beginning
the challenge of job hunting. They discover the secret of being able to
talk confidently with a prospective employer through these experiences.
