Introduction:
Jim & Kaye Hurn have been married since 1958, have 3 sons, and 9 grandchildren.
Jim spent 19 years from 1952 to 1971 in the electrical industry in New Zealand holding qualifications with the New Zealand Trade Certification
Board. His experience ranges from distribution and substation operating to duties as a Public Relations Officer promoting industry sales and standards. Kaye's early years were spent in secretarial administration in the financial
and media market place.
From 1972 to 1993 Jim and Kaye were involved in a Theological College majoring on character development and leadership training. Jim as Deputy Principal and Kaye as Registrar and Dean of Women. Both
were active lecturing and counseling with shared responsibility for the academic and emotional well being of the student body.
From 1994 to December 2000 they have been Team Leaders in a Pastoral role in the city of Tauranga,
New Zealand. 2001 they are back travelling. Involvement:
Jim and
Kaye have been teaching on Biblical and other related "Lifestyle Excellence" topics in most cities and towns in New Zealand., also in Brunei, United States of America, India, Australia and the Pacific Islands. They have been to
Malaysia and Singapore on over 40 occasions where Stress Management Seminars, Family and Parenting Seminars, and general Biblical teaching has been conducted with many Churches, Bible Colleges and business groups. |
