If you are interested in culture Kemerovo has a lot to offer. You
are welcome to visit the Museum of Local Lore, History and Economy,
Historical and Architectural Museum, and the Regional Museum of Fine
Arts. There are about 10 Picture and
Handicraft Galleries, numeruos amateur folk singer and and folk dance
groups, 5 libraries, 6 higher educational institutions, 2 universities
and 2 academies. Kemerovo has five theaters, one philharmonic (with an
organ hall and group of Symphonic orchestra well known outside Kuzbass) and several culture palaces. The
