| Dart keeping and terrariums in general have come a long way from the times of plastic plants and barren tanks. It's true that a tank can be as simple or as complicated as you want but it's also worth mentioning that creating a little slice of the rainforest for your pets is a lot easier than you think. Really a tank is only limited by it's size and your imagination. The important thing to remember is that nothing is permanent. I have tanks I've put "together" and ripped apart many times, the design and layout becoming more involved and looking better each time. These lush tanks are not limited to the keeping of darts, but also make great homes for many other frogs & toads as well as snakes and other reptiles and amphibians. It's a simple matter of researching the animal you intend to put in the tank and tailoring it to suit their needs while still keeping it looking good. |
