What Keeps me busy?

A few years ago Chester Beatty library , Dublin had a Rangoli competion for thier Diwali family day. I was not great at Rangoli but that did not stop me from taking part in that competition. I had dragged all my friends along too.

My friend Valli got the third price that year. The next  year Jenny, the education officer got in touch with me and asked me if I would do a Rangoli piece for the family day that year. They had decided not to have a competition. I did a piece for them and I was happy at that.

Jenny got back to me asking if I would be interested in being a freelance Rangoli artist! I was really thrilled. Since then I have done a few Rangoli presentations. In 2004, I did two Rangoli workshops, one for children at
Children's Artfest in Ashbourne and the other for Le Cheile. In 2005, I did a workshop for adults and teenagers and an exhibhition at the  Dun Laoghaire festival of World Cultures.

Every year I do a piece for the Diwali Celebrations at Chester Beatty Library
