Shwag Bio

Shwag is a Long Beach/Orange County based original Rock band. It's members include Chris Spliff on vocals, Dean Keef on leadguitar, C-Ray on bass, and Ross on drums . Chris replaced Shwag's old vocalist in December of 2002. With all new lyrics and melodies, Chris managed to make new songs out of the old music they used with their previous singer. in 2003 Shwag proceded to play in small venues generating a steady growing fan base throughout the southland. 2004 looks more promising than ever, with new songs in progress and more gigs to play.

They are an unsigned and unmanaged band that are dedicated to what they love to do, and that is Rock & Roll! Thier sound is solid & driving, a type of post grunge psychadelic hard rock. The lyrics are introspective but also touch society in a dark poetic way. A hit of fresh air to your typical radio clone, make you wanna puke, turn the fuckin' station brand of music come latley. Shwag is truly a down and dirty, rock and roll band at heart if ever you've heard one.
