| The door opened, Captain Ross entered the house, drizzled in rain.
Bobby had been comforting Alex, and without meaning he placed the box on the floor. Bobby stood up, but said nothing �Goren�� Ross cut himself off at the sight of Alex wrapping her self around Bobby�s leg. She had never done this before. Bobby figured it was a sort of strategy to calm her nerves. He didn�t mind. But then he thought she had seen Abbagail do it, so monkey see, monkey do. �Goren,� He continued, �Have you gotten any threats lately? Of any kind?� �No�� Bobby replied. �Alex you�re acting like Abbagail you know that? He said as Alex held on tighter. �Abbagail does this?� Ross asked surprised. The Abbagail he had seen was silly, but not enough to cling onto her father�s leg at the age of twelve. �She does it all the time,� Bobby said, �She did it to Alex once and apparently she thought Alex was too little to hang on to, and I�m so big, so for that reason I think she enjoys it more,� �Ah�� Ross said, as though it was obvious. Abbagail came trotting into the living room. �There she comes�� Bobby commented. �Whatcha talking about?� Abbagail asked, very hyper. She apparently had either not taken her sleep medication, or was woken up by her father�s and Ross�s conversation, and did not have the strength to go back to sleep. �We were talking about how you like to cling to my leg, but not your mothers,� Abbagail noticed Alex slightly, but did not think of how she was acting. �Oh� Ok�� �Ok then,� Bobby replied. �Can I cling to your leg too?� Abbagail asked apprehensively. �No�� Bobby said. But despite the fact he said no, Abbagail still clung to her father�s leg. �Abbagail, get off of me,� �No� what�s in the box?� Abbagail strayed off. �A decapitated head,� Alex murmured. �Alex!� Bobby scolded. She was in great sadness she could do anything, even if she didn�t mean to do it. �Just take the box and go,� �I can�t, whoever killed her is too much of a threat,� Ross replied. �So you�re saying we need �round the clock security?� �Pretty Much,� �Who got their head decapitated?� Abbagail asked. �Are you going to tell her?� asked Ross. �Later I will,� Bobby replied. Bobby did not yet want Abbagail knowing that her aunt was dead. |
