MOVIES
"Saint Seiya Gekijoban" (Saint Seiya 1st Movie/Eris's Reincarnation) was released on 18 July 1987; "Kamigami no Atsuki Tatakai" on 12 March 1988; and "Shinku no Shonen Densetsu" on 23 July 1988. Acted as the Producer of these three series is Chiaki Imada. The fourth one, "Saishu Seisen no Senshi tachi" was released on 18 March 1989, with Chiaki Imada and Yoshifumi Hatano as Producers. If you notice that the characters in the fourth series look rather extraordinary, it's because the designing didn't involve only Shingo Araki and Michi Himeno, but also another designer named Masahiro Naoi.
Under each synopsis you will find two links to the series' screen shots pages. Removed screen shots are pictures which originally included in the screen shots pages, but then were removed due to "editing". I don't remove them permanently because it's too pitiful (HAHA!) and who knows someday I or you would find something interesting from them ;-)
MOVIE I
SAINT SEIYA GEKIJOBAN
ERIS'S REINCARNATIONSaori, Seiya, Hyoga and Shun went to Kido's orphanage. Hyoga met Ellie and they seemed to like each other. They went to a pier, watching the stars. Ellie was interested in a comet she saw. When Hyoga returned to the orphanage, Ellie followed the comet and found a golden apple. She touched the apple and was possessed by the spirit of Eris, the goddess of discord. As Eris's soul reincarnated, the her Ghost Saints awakened from their graves.
The next morning, riding a horse, Saori saw Ellie standing alone in the forest. Eris frightened Saori's horse, so she fell down and unconscious. When Saori revived, she found that she was tied in a temple and recognised Ellie as Eris. Eris sent a message to the Bronzes about the place where she and Saori were, and they hurried to find Saori and the missing Ellie. At the temple, Eris introduced her Ghost Saints to Saori. Then she used her gold apple to take Athena's power. By night's fall, the absorption would be complete, and Athena would die.
The Bronzes arrived. Seiya met Sagitta Maya. Seiya's Pegasus Ryuusei Ken ended Maya, but one of Maya's poisoned arrow hit Seiya. Hyoga was caught by Southern Cross Christ. In the middle of the battle, Eris came. Hyoga noticed her as Ellie. When Christ and Hyoga continued the battle, Eris threw her spear which then killed Christ. Next was Shiryu vs. Tateza Yan. Shiryu tried to break Yan's shield, but he failed. On the contrary, Shiryu's shield was shattered by Yan's attack. But the battle didn't last long. Shiryu's Rozan Shou Ryuu Ha ended Yan. Shun met Lyra Orpheus who was playing his harp. Before Shun did anything, Orpheus attacked him with his Stringer Requiem, but soon Ikki came and broke the strings. He attacked Orpheus with Phoenix Gen Ma Ken, but the illusion wasn't successful since Orpheus had died before. But at last, Hou Yoku Tenshou ended him.
Seiya arrived at Eris's altar. Eris threw away Ellie's body and showed her real form. When Seiya was about to attack Eris, Jaga came over. But at that time, the poison from Maya's arrow worked. Ikki came, but he was beaten up by Jaga's Megaton Meteor Crush. After defeating Ikki, Jaga beat Seiya and threw him into a valley. Jaga and Eris thought that Seiya had died, but Saori and his friends burned Seiya fighting spirit. As Seiya's cosmo burnt, the Sagittarius Cloth appeared and replaced the Pegasus Cloth on his body.
But night came. Saori was about to die. Seiya successfully defeated Jaga. Then, with the golden arrow, he shot Eris through her forehead and crush the gold apple. The temples started to broken down. Seiya and Ikki ran out of the complex. As they realised that there were just the two of them, they heard their friends' voice. Shiryu, Shun, Saori, Hyoga and Ellie walked out from a trail, as the morning came over.

MOVIE II
KAMIGAMI NO ATSUKI TATAKAI
THE GODS' HEATED BATTLEHyoga went to Asgard and met a man who told him that something was wrong in Asgard. Hyoga tried to tell Saori and his friends, but he was knocked-out. Saori, Seiya, Shiryu and Shun came to Asgard to look for Hyoga, and were welcomed as Dolbar's guests. Dolbar said he hadn't heard about Hyoga, but he'd commanded his guards to look for him. Then, Frey and Freya came to take Saori and the Bronzes to the guest room.
On the way there, they met 3 Uru, Rungu and Midgard. As he walked through Midgard, Shiryu felt something with the Asgardian's cosmo. He felt like he knew the cosmo. When they were in the guest room, a guard came and said that he had found Hyoga's helmet. Seiya and Shiryu went to the forest, screamed out for Hyoga.
Frey was suspicious with the disappearance of Hyoga. He came to Dolbar and said what was in his mind. He didn't know that it was done by Dolbar. Realising that Frey was becoming dangerous for him, Dolbar attacked Frey and imprisoned him. Saori was suspicious of Dolbar's ambition to be the highest ruler of Asgard. Dolbar was surprised for the second time and attacked her. She could hold the attack for a moment before was beaten up and was made as the figurehead of a ship under Odin's statue.
Realising that Athena was in trouble, the Bronzes stopped looking for Hyoga and began to look for Saori. Shun was the first who saw her, but before he could do anything, Uru came after and broke Shun's chain.
Shiryu was caught by Midgard. Midgard took off his mask, and Shiryu was shocked seeing Hyoga's face before his eyes. He came after Hyoga and shook his hand, but Hyoga froze his right arm. Shiryu was in dilemma. He had to fight the brainwashed Hyoga as his opponent and friend. Their fight continued in the water. Hyoga froze the water around Shiryu, but then he was ended up by Rozan Shou Ryuu Ha.
As Shun was almost beaten up, a scream "Hou Yoku Tenshou!" heard, and Uru was suddenly burnt. Ikki showed up. Then the giant Rungu came over. Shun fell into a valley, but his Nebula Chain lashed and held him. Ikki hit Rungu with Phoenix Genma Ken and was about to help his brother when Rungu held Ikki's foot in his hand. The cliff was overloaded and the three fell into the valley. Nebula Chain lashed again, and Shun tried hard to climb while holding his brother.
Seiya arrived at Odin's plaza and was shocked of the view he saw. Loki came and was ended up by the combination attack of Pegasus Ryuusei Ken and Pegasus Rolling Crush. Dolbar appeared at the plaza. He beat Seiya, as his next attack held by Shun, before he hit back the Andromeda Saint. Then Hyoga showed up. Dolbar's laugh stopped when Hyoga directed his fist to him. Shiryu's attack had zapped him back to the real Hyoga. But Aurora Thunder Attack couldn't do much and Hyoga was defeated. When Dolbar was about to attack Seiya again, Ikki came and got the hard hit.
Holding Seiya's head in his hand, Dolbar shouted out to Saori that nothing could stop him again when suddenly the Sagittarius Cloth came by the call of Athena's cosmo. But Dolbar said if Seiya killed him, they wouldn't be able to help her. As Seiya got confused, Frey, who had escaped and was climbing the Odin's statue, told him to fight Dolbar. As Seiya released his golden shot, Frey's sword reached the crystals in the god's head. Dolbar was ended up, and Asgard started to broken down. On the place where the Odin's statue stood--and where Frey sacrificed himself--Yggdrasill the World Tree grew.

MOVIE III
SHINKU NO SHONEN DENSETSU
LEGEND OF THE CRIMSON YOUTHSaori was in a garden when Abel came after her. She spent the day with Abel and they were having tea, guarded by the Corona Saints: Carina Atlas, Lynx Jao and Coma Belnike. Abel told Saori about the big flood Zeus would send to sweep out the unselected people. When he was about to take Saori with him, Seiya, Shiryu, Hyoga and Shun arrived. Atlas said that Athena no longer needed them. Abel had awakened the 5 Gold Saints who were killed in the Sanctuary battle, and they would be Athena's new guards. As Seiya hurt hard because of Atlas' attacks, Saori went with Abel, leaving her Bronzes depressed.
At Abel's Corona Temple, Saori realised that she had no more intention to join him any longer. She tried to attack Abel, but it caused fatal for her. Abel's power sent her soul to Abyss. At that time, Camus and Shura came after. They couldn't accept if he killed Athena. They fought the Coronas but their Aurora Execution and Excalibur didn't work well and they were easily killed.
The Bronzes arrived. Seiya met Atlas and was defeated for the second time. Shun met Shiryu and Hyoga, and they vowed to fight Abel for Athena. Shiryu was caught by Death Mask. His attack didn't work this time. On the contrary, Sekishiki Meikai Ha once again sent him to Abyss where he saw Athena's soul. After a fight, Death Mask was ended by Rozan Shou Ryuu Ha. But when Shiryu tried to reach Athena, he was zapped back to real world. The Abyss lost after the death of Death Mask. Before Shiryu continued, he was suddenly attacked by Belnike and was beaten up.
Shun had his second fight against Aphrodite. His Nebula Storm wasn't very successful now, and he was once again shot by Aphrodite's Bloody Rose. But Shun still tried to hold on. Aphrodite shot his Bloody Rose but the roses were stopped by Ikki and he was then hit by Phoenix Genma Ken. As he tried to hit Ikki with Bloody Rose, Ikki once again attacked and ended him with Hou Yoku Tenshou. But before the brothers went on, Atlas had been already behind them. Ikki protected his brother, and was beaten by Atlas's attack.
Saga came to Seiya and told him what had happened to Saori. Seiya once again beaten up by the Galaxian Explosion. Hyoga fought Belnike, but his Diamond Dust and Aurora Thunder Attack didn't work well, as the Cygnus Cloth shattered by Belnike. But the remembrance of his mother and the crucifix she had given him burned Hyoga's spirit. Belnike was ended up. As Pegasus Ryuusei Ken defeated Galaxian Explosion, Saga told Seiya his true intention. At the same time, Jao came. Saga told Seiya to hurried up to save Athena's soul. Saga then sacrificed himself after pitting his Galaxian Explosion with Jao's Shining Claw.
Hyoga arrived at the Corona Temple and met Atlas. He was beaten up, but Atlas's second attack was stopped by Shun who came holding his unconscious brother. Shiryu also came. Atlas hit Shun back, then defeated Shiryu. At that time, Seiya arrived. Athena was about to die. The disasters on earth were getting worse. Seiya's cosmo called out the Sagittarius, Aquarius and Libra clothes. The combination of Hyoga's and Shiryu's attacks and the final touch from Pegasus Suisei Ken killed Atlas. But then Abel's power knocked Hyoga and Shiryu down. Seiya's attacks didn't work too. The harder he tried, the harder he was hit back. Seiya screamed out for Saori. Saori's soul heard it and she returned to alive. Abel tried to attack Saori, but held by Seiya. Finally, the golden arrow was shot through Abel's heart, killed him, and broke down the Corona Temple.

MOVIE IV
SAISHU SEISEN NO SENSHI TACHI
WARRIORS OF THE LAST HOLY WARA mysterious power came to Sanctuary and knocked Mu, Aldebaran, Aioria, Shaka and Milo down. It arrived at Athena's altar and formed into Lucifer and his 4 angels. Lucifer cut the goddess statue's head down. At the same time, big disasters attacked the earth. There were floods, earthquakes, deadly dust and darkness.
Saori was at the altar, shocked with the scene she saw. Seiya, Hyoga and Shun came and were also surprised seeing the head of Athena before them. Lucifer came. He told Saori and the Bronzes that he would draw the evil powers of Poseidon, Eris and Abel into himself to control the world. He asked Saori to defeat him or hell would move to earth. The Bronzes attacked Lucifer's angels, but they were beaten up and hardly hurt that they had to stay in the hospital.
Saori had no more choice. She decided to fight Lucifer to save the earth. As Saori climbed up to Lucifer's altar, Seiya, Shiryu, Hyoga and Shun hurried climbing the Sanctuary but they were caught by Seraphim Beelzebub and Cherubim Astarte. Shiryu told his friends to go on. As the other 3 continued, Virtue Erigor came over. Shun told Seiya and Hyoga to move on. Then, Seiya and Hyoga met Throne Moa. Seiya kept running, as Hyoga would had a fight against the angel.
On the stairway, Shiryu successfully beat Astarte, but was hurt by Beelzebub. Hyoga saw his mother. But as she came over, he was crushed by Moa's attack. Finally, Hyoga realised that it was just an illusion, so he attacked his mother with Aurora Thunder Attack. As the attack hit her, Hyoga's mother's body formed into Moa's body. He was defeated, and the illusion disappeared. At the other part, Shun's Spider Net didn't work on Erigor. Erigor was about to kill Shun with his claws when Ikki came over. Ikki hit Erigor with his Phoenix Gen Ma Ken, Erigor attacked him back. Ikki's head was cut off. But it wasn't more than an illusion. Ikki killed Erigor. But he didn't help Shun. He ignored Shun's scream and left his brother.
As Saori tried hard to walk through the thorny vines, Seiya arrived, but he was caught by Beelzebub and was beaten up. Ikki, Shun, Hyoga and Shiryu arrived then. The Bronzes' cosmo channeled, called the Sagittarius Cloth. Then, Seiya's Pegasus Suisei Ken ended Beelzebub. When Seiya was about to shot Lucifer with the gold arrow, he saw that Saori was already in Lucifer's hand.
But with the cosmo of the bronzes and the 12 Gold Saints, Seiya successfully shot Lucifer through his heart. At the same time, Poseidon's, Eris's and Abel's power in Lucifer were spread away and Lucifer was sent back to hell. As the temples broke down, the Bronzes hurried ran out.
