All together there are 3 categories badges used in the Prefect Board. Each category shows the position of the individual prefect in the board.

Badges of the Prefects

The Captain Badge

  • The badge shows the highest position in the Prefect Board.
  • Coloured in red, it is worn only by the School Captain and his/her assistants.
  • At the lower part of the badge, there are writtings which show the position of the prefect in the board.
  • The School Captain wears the badge with the word "Kapten Sekolah" , the malay version of his/her post while the his/her assistants' badge contains the word "Penolong Kapten Sekolah"(the word Penolong is the malay word for assistant)

 

The Councillor Badge

  • The badge is worn only by the member of the Council of Prefects.
  • Coloured in blue, it can be worn either by a Councillor or Assistant Councillor.
  • At the lower part of the badge, the word "Kaunselor" or "Penolong Kaunselor" may appear. The word "Kaunselor" intended to mean Councillor in malay.
  • The members of the council each wear badges according to their position.
  • *Although the Secretary and Treasurer do not have the word councillor in their post, they too are considered councillors and therefore wears this badge also

 

The Prefect Badge

  • This is the standard badge for all Prefects.
  • Coloured in green, the school official colour, this badge is worn by each and every prefect in the school with exception to the member of the Council of Prefects.
  • The word "Pengawas" is clearly shown at the lower part of the badge.
  • This badge, together with the other prefect badge can only be worn by a Prefect and only on his/her Prefect uniform.
