and welcome to Bob & Gez's Web Site. We are members to the GWOCGB, our local region Shropshire Wings and elite wings. We own one of the last 1500SE's to be made reistered on 03 plates. Hard call against a new 1800 but at 6'6" tall theres not enough leg room with the seat and handlebars in their current configuration.. Our new bike has retained the name of our old 1500 called Spirit of The Lake so named in memory of the late Donald Cambell who was killed on January 4th 1967 on Lake Conniston whilst attempting to break the World Water speed record in his jet powered boat Blue Bird K7. We hope you find our modest attempt at creating a web site of interest to promote friendship and sharing the common interest and love of Goldwings. We live in the heart of Shropshire in the UK and run our own Security Consultancy Business in nearby Telford. Whilst not having much time for leisure we hope that our new found hobby of Goldwings and attending the many Wing Ding meetings and International Treffens will bring a new dimention to our lives, both in visiting new places and meeting a variety of folk with similar interest.
Our first overseas trip on our Wing was in June 2001 when we travelled to Spain for the Spanish International Treffen meeting
We enjoyed it so much we have been three years on the trot and now own a property on the Costa el Sol at Alhaurin El Grande which is open for rental. Ideal for exploring Southern Spain on good quiet biking roads. Check out our property page if your interested in renting.. Our other hobbies and interests include Travel ,Art, Cottage Renovation, Playing the Guitar, Food, Wine, Golf, Queen/Freddie Mercury and building up our Business to pay for it all!!
