| Episode 41 - Ride She Said Episode 42 - Magnum Ernst Episode 43 - Dudesbury Episode 44 - Fear - The entire staff is required to earn a life - saving certificate, or else Mr. Ernst's insurance premium for the ranch is going to go up. If all the staff members do not pass the test, Mr. Ernst will be forced to close down the pool because he can't afford to pay the insurance increase. Episode 45 - Secret Admirer Episode 46 - Lost In The Desert - Brad and Kyle take the young buckaroos on an overnight camping trip in the desert. Before long, the kids tie Brad and Kyle up and run away. Meanwhile, after watching a scary movie, Buddy is afraid to sleep, so the rest of the gang keeps him company while Brad and Kyle are lost in the desert. Episode 47 - Return of Ted - Ted mysteriously returns to the ranch, but won't tell anyone why he isn't at summer school. Eventually, the gang finds out that he failed summer school and ran away. Mr. Ernst convinces Ted to go back and pass summer school. Episode 48 - Do the Right Thing - When an archaeologist finds a sacred indian burial ground on the Bar None, Danny wants the remains to be returned to their rightful place. Episode 49 - Doghouse Blues - When the neighbors, Vic and Valerie Vleck get into an argument, Valerie comes to stay at the Bar None, and develops a romantic interest in Mr. Ernst. This causes some trouble when Vic also shows up at the ranch. Episode 50 - Some Like it Hot - To cover up for another one of Jake's mistakes, Jake and Danny pose as two critics who are staying at the ranch. Mr. Ernst can't see anything because Jake accidentally broke his glasses. Episode 51 - Moneybags - When money gets tight, Mr. Ernst considers an offer for partnership in the Bar None made by a mysterious man on the phone. When the man on the phone turns out to be Ted, back from summer school, he explains that he had won the lottery. When the man from the lottery comes to present Ted with the check, he discovers that Ted wasn't old enough to play the lottery, and therefore was not eligible to receive the prize money. Episode 52 - Murder, He Wrote - To attract more guests to the ranch, Mr. Ernst plans a murder mystery dinner to be performed by the staff, excluding Ted and Melody who are at the infirmary in town. When Ted and Melody return, they overhear everyone else rehearsing their lines and take them seriously. Episode 53 - Miss Tucson - Melody and Brad both compete against each other to be crowned Miss Bar None. The winner will get to go on and compete in the Miss Tucson pageant. Episode 54 - The Legend of Jed - When Jake finds himself in trouble once again, the gang tries to cover for him and convince Mr. Ernst that there is a new staff member named Jed who is responsible. It becomes a seemingly endless task for the gang, pretending that Jed is real, but in the end, the joke is on them. Episode 55 - Incredible Shrinking Ted - When the gang gets tired of Ted's practical jokes, they decide to play a trick on im by making him believe he is shrinking. Episode 56 - Rest in Pieces - When the gang overhears Lucy talking on the phone with the doctor, they assume that it is Mr. Ernst is the one who is sick, rather than one of the horses. Episode 57 - Baby - When a forgetful mother forgets her mother at the Bar None, the staff takes turns taking care of him. Episode 58 - Jealous Guy - Ted and Kyle butt heads in this episode where they are both basically competing for Brad. They agree to a fight where the loser has to leave the ranch, but after a trip to the desert together, a few things change. Episode 59 - Amnesia - When Mr. Ernst gets hit on the head with a bucket, he gets amnesia and thinks that he is his 17-year-old self, nicknamed T-Bone, and that it is 1969. Episode 60 - Presumed Stupid - Ted needs $50 to buy a new stereo. When Brad gets $50 in the mail, and it disappears, everyone assumes that Ted stole Brad's money. Eventually, the missing money is found, and the gang discovers that Ted has found a very interesting side job. Episode 61 - Crush - Brad and Ted make a bet to see who can go the longest without worrying about their looks. After a few days, the gang gets tired of Brad and Ted's ongoing battle, and gives them both a "hose-down". Meanwhile, Buddy is in love with Melody. Episode 62 - Low Budget Brad - When Brad finds out that her father has lost his job, she is faced with the idea of no longer being wealthy. She begins making cut-backs and sacrifices. Episode 63 - Jake's fight - A bully comes to the Bar None and bullies the young buckaroos and even the staff members. When Jake confronts the bully, he challenges Jake to a fight. Despite the gang's urging for Jake to run away, he decides to stand up to the bully. Episode 64 - Double Date - Ted asks Melody out on a date to make Brad jealous because Kyle asked Brad out. So the four of them go out on a double date which leads to disaster. Episode 65 - War - In what is sadly the final episode of Hey Dude, the veteran staff members (Ted, Melody and Danny) challenge the new staff members (Kyle, Jake, and Brad) to a championship game of capture the flag. The winner supposedly gets to become senior staff. |
