A certain farmer was working in the fields one day. He got really
tired so he raised his eyes to the sky and tried to brush off a fat
rivulet of sweat coursing down from his forehead. He saw boldly
printed in the sky the letters " P-C". He thought quikly that God was
passing a message to him. He couldn't figure it out. He thought for
many days and finally arrived at a more convincing option. The
letters , he thought, initialed " PREACH CHRIST".
So, off he went to the Bible school. In a few months he was an
Evangelist going from place to place preaching christ. After about
five years in ministry he had it on record that he was yet to win a
soul for Christ. He was disturbed and decided to consult a
counsellor. In the course of the counselling he narrated how he had
seen the letters in the sky signalling him to ministry. The
counsellor carefully explained to him that God often will not require
us to stop being who we are at where we are in order to answer a
divine order. He said the letters,"P-C", probably meant "PLANT CORN".
This could be confirmed by the cost of corn in that country which had
quadrupled since the time the man saw the sign.
