I tried to design my site to be simple and easy to use. The site is designed to advertise affordable shoes for men, women, and kids, so it should be easy to navigate through brands and merchandise. I have created one page each for men, women, and childrens shoes (Mens will be Nike, Womens will be Uggs, and Kids will be Sketchers). Every page includes the same bordered image at the top, showing a logo for Uncle Bobs ShoeShack, so no matter what page the user navigates to they will always see that heading. The differences lie within the body and context. The contact page has contact information for Uncle Bob as well as a simple form to submit personal contact information in case the user wants to be contacted by the business. The about page includes a brief description of Uncle Bob and his passion for shoes and includes some YouTube videos featuring some of the products we sell from each brand. Each and every page includes links to Home, About, and Contact. In addition, instead of choosing a wide variety of colors, for this simple site I have only used a few colors. I did not choose a primary color for the background, but rather the color that matches the logo I have used in the heading of each page. I chose a blue that is slightly purple, seems to be easy on the eyes and black text shows up very nicely on the page. I did include a table with a white background for better visibility of shoe sizes and pricing. Links are also black, however they are underlined and when the user hovers the mouse over the link it highlights with a black-blocked background and hot-pink text to signify that it is a link.
