Web Links

A few must-see sites for ex-INN'ers, as well as new INN-folk "homes", and online chat links.
(And then some of my personal favorites =)

*NOTE: Most of the below links don't work anymore (been years since I bothered updating, and many are no longer in existence). You're best off just going to:
Xensoft.com
(Xenther's current home)

For Ex-INNers

New INNer Homes

Live chat programs

Mentally unstable links

Links for ex-INN'ers:

Cyber Roleplay Cafe

This place is cool. It has email addresses for tons of INN folk, a large link page to many, many guilds' sites. A post board which unfortunately seems to be a failed attempt, and a live chat area (which I have yet to try).

INN-Links

A great place to go to find old friends' websites and email addresses.

Xenther's INN-Vets Page

Another great place to find old friends' websites, email addresses & all kinds of info. Awesome job, Xenther!

Lost INN'ers Website

Gandalf's cool website, with the "Yserbius project" - a unique attempt at reviving Yserbius.

Black Widows

Eavesdrop's site for them evil 8-legged creatures - be careful though, she is a WWW (Wicked Widow of the Web)

The Celts

An 'honor and blood' guild that started on INN.

Celtic Bash Page

Velvet from Yserbius's page, dedicated (currently) to The Celts' new years bash. There is a Post board there where I have seen quite a few names from INN I haven't seen in a while!

The Mercs

A rough and tough guild that riled up a few people. I remember it as the guild that people loved to hate. These folk loved to war with other guilds, including KAAOS (below). Some people were very vicious and cruel, but I believe alot of it was all in roleplaying's name.

KAAOS

I think these are the same folk that ran rampant in Yserbius. They apparently had a big war with the Celts, and according to The Mercs' web site, The Mercs won (but that's probably an opinion ;p). The website makes these folk look as vicious as The Mercs, at least.

LOV
VON

Lovers of Vampires guild, formerly Vampires of the Night on INN. (I prefer the former name ;p)

PoY
Order of the Rose

The guild formerly known as PoY (Protectors of Yserbius). Now 'reborn' as Order of the Rose.

KOY

The Kingdom of Yserbius guild (I always thought it was Knights of Yserbius?)
Andrea being the one who hosts that web page.

TOYs

The Templars of Yserbius. A fun loving guild full of toys =) What more can I say?

MoY

Masters of Yserbius.

VOYS

Vanguard of Yserbius. I dunno, I just put it here because I wanted a complete list of the 'oys'. LOL

Mass Guild Links Page

Has tons of links to different guilds currently in existence, many that I've never heard of. Off the "Cyber Roleplay Café" site - see link above.

Sierra On-Line Fan Site

Former Sierra On-Line CEO and founder Ken William's fan site.

Hmm, I wonder what other guilds went on to have a Web presence. (tries to remember Guild names - say, where are the "Jesters"?) I'll do some more research into these lost guilds ;p

New homes being researched ;p

Lightning Entertainment

A place I called home for a while, but it exists no more!
Originally consisting of mostly card and board games (and a MUD or two), this place I believe created a graphical role playing game (The 4th Coming).

By the way - the chat room was one of the best you could ever find, with multimedia sounds that would crack me up.

EverQuest

A cool MMORPG that a few Yserbian's played, along with it's sequel. I tried the first one when it initially came out, got killed lots by rats, couldn't deal with the crappy control scheme, and tossed in the towel. I'm sure there's been tons of improvements since then ;-)

Empiriana
IRealms

Empiriana was described as "the closest thing to Yserbius". I gave it a try once, but at the time, there wasn't many people I found from INN. It's now listed as being a free service, so it might be worth a look some time, if u can deal with it's outdated graphics.

The Realm

A top-down (more like a side view) approach to roleplaying, as characters walk an interact with one another visually on-screen. It has the look of some of Sierra's older adventure games, but is of course different. I tried it, but found it to be too full of people, and too hard to find just anyone.

Ultima Online

Ultima Online sounded like a great idea at first. Now, after reading tons of reviews, it sounds like a good idea gone bad. Major lag problems, overcrowded-ness, pain-in-the-ass people who are out just to kill one another (I guess exploration does eventually end ;p) This one's supposed to be some sort of top-down scroller sort of similar to 'The Realm' but different in terms of playing in groups?

Illusia

Illusia is another graphical gaming site. I unfortunately haven't learned much about this, other than some people call this home.

Empyria

Well, I know that some folk go here for fun.  Don't see any free trials or nothing yet, so I'm gonna wait on it.. <g>

Meridian 59

Meridian-Scrapbook

This was a commercial product that was for online playing, also downloadable. I think it was a 3D dungeon crawler, sort of looked like dungeon exploration similar to Yserbius's.
The scrapbook is for members' posts and stuff.

The online gaming
network formerly known as
"The ImagiNation Network"

WorldPlay
Cyberpark

Wonder what happened to INN / TSN? Well, here's the last links I had for it

Live chat programs! (for online-wherever-you-are-communication):

PowWow
Tribal Voice

PowWow used to be one of my favorites for online chat (and mutual web-browsing <grin>) Supports audio communication, as well as cute sound 'actions'.

ICQ

A very popular, though somewhat annoying <grin> online chat program. Supposedly, a bunch of ex-INN'ers use this.
My ICQ #
5123982, but I no longer use this
(Please, no chain letters or 'virtual hugs' ;p)

Microsoft Netmeeting

I don't know of anybody that used this, though I think Veldare said she did at one point..QQ. Anyhoo, it came free with Microsoft Internet Explorer 3 (I think) - if not, download this is the site you could download it at. This is the only program I know of that supports video as well as audio and text communication.

My personal Links for the chemically imbalanced:

Carmageddon

Carmageddon.com

Carmageddon is one wickedly evil driving game, my favorite game of all time. It is great for getting you aggressions out. LOL. Unfortunately, links are dead.. but I believe a new Carmageddon game may come out...

For amusement, check out this new (or, renewed) fad in video game marketing: Men Only <grin>

Old favorite web-search engine:
Metacrawler
