2nd August

Word. It's been ages since this site got an update so i figured it could use one. Andrew's been back for about a month so we've been busy playing and recording, firstly at the jug, then at Tom Grant's house. Thanks to everyone who came along to see us, and sorry to anyone who saw the show at Grant Mansions, it was kinda crap, though it did finish on a 30 minute long verion of 'take my breath away'. It was meant to go on for 6 hours, but it was late and there was golf to be played.

Anyways, July also saw the recording of 'Euro Court' by Morton Snr. It sounds pretty good, though it could use a little work. We should be recording some more before the summer is through. In gig news, we have a show coming up at the Bar Academy on August 19th. Tickets are 2, and can be purchased from us, or the academy website or box office, if you're into that kind of thing. We're also down to play at the Flapper and Firkin on Friday 27th of August, however, Andrew is going away to France for a while so he wont be able to make that show. Hopefully he'll be here for the Bar Academy one, and we'll play some kind of Brothers Garcia show at the Flapper.

Aaanyways, a proper update should arrive soon with new pictures and such but until then keep enjoying your summer, and feel free to drop us a line on the message board...

19th February,

Bryn says he hates humanity so i'm writing the update this time. It's been more than a month since the gig with Yellobelly, and some interesting stuff has happened in the meantime. First of all, last Sunday night we went up to Manchester and played a show at "the Dry Bar" - it smelled of raw sewage.  We played  well, but an hour early so some of our buddies didn't make it in time, sorry guys.

Practice rooms in manchester are stupid, meaning we had time to kill on Saturday, so we went to Quasar. It was great. I got shot something like 200 times, but Bryn represented for SEF coming 3rd out of 10, against a bunch of kids who spend their entire saturday playing Quasar. Also mentions must go to Mariokart: Double Dash, Timesplitters 2,Mario Party 7(?), hanging in a squash court, Tom Waits and Frank Black & the Catholics 'cause that was all we did the rest of the time.

Back to the show of last month though- we found a review of it in the latest "Media Ass" magazine, look to your left and you can check it out.

Share the moment...

30th August

See SEF on Friday 3rd of September at el Jug of Ale!!

I am reliably informed that they've all been working hard on new songs for the show. There was a gig on friday just passed which I didnt see. It's been recorded but David says a lot of it is messed up meaning it probably can't be used.

Also this week Bryn fell off the SEF mobile at the staggering speed of 20 miles per hour. He escaped with a few bruises and should be ok for the show. In other news Bryn passed all his gcses and will be found at Cadbury college next year studying somethings

October 30th

There has been activity in the Studio today so I hear. More is scheduled for next week in order to finish up. Bryn hints that some kind of optical media will be available soon especially if you go to Cadbury.
