| SEF PLAY JUG OF ALE ON THE 29TH OF DECEMBER WITH DISTOPHIA AND THE EDITORS-IT'S A WEDNESDAY-YEAH! Okay Scene, Nobody's fault- December 3rd K-We've recorded five songs at THE STUDIO and it went pretty well. 1.Euro Court 2.Beers and Weers 3.Susan 4.Blood Ass 5.Structural Damage at No.53 It sounds ok. Hopefully we'll have the cd ready for the shows over christmas. The good stuff is that YOU CAN BUY SEF AT HMV over christmas (december). It's a promotion of local bands and it won't cost too much. We're thinking of maybe putting some of the new songs on a three song CD. Go get it punk. Aside from that I put one of my friends in hospital yesterday and feel very weird about it. After pushing her off a ledge she escaped a broken neck which is good, right? So until the band come home i'm gonna feel guilty, but when they do get home we have lots of fun stuff to do like prepare the e.p, sell the e.p. then make more cd's with the money! Also we have to practice you know how that goes. Aside from that we've been listening to lots of fun music and everyones feeling it at university. David has blown too much money on Cd's apparently but thats okay. What would you do with the money? (I'd get some pedigree buddy's cos why settle for a mongrol) But i still feel really weird about what happend, but my buddy forgave me (I hope) and so JODI sorry for almost killing you and also Jawbox are really good. i got their second album last saturday and i've played it to death. You know how that goes! Also another apology for missing the Enids debut show at the flapper (i went with Ralph's brother to see blink 182, thanks for the free ticket) If you dont know i used to be the singer in the Enids but now they have sexy Austin singing instead. From what I hear the show went well and Austin looked good. Go see them when you get the chance. Ralph and Tom Grant were at the show and they said it was good. I trust their judgement. Have a good christmas! Bryn |

Also in the 'discs' bit you can find a link to a Bearos page which is hosting 'Euro Court' at the moment, along with a few words and some artwork. A proper update will follow soon just as soon as we've got some more details about the Birmingham show with Sunset Cinema Club planned for easter and the London show. play safe -RaLPh |
| S.E.F are headlining at THE JUG OF ALE on SATURDAY 2ND APRIL - with support from BABY PANCAKES - 3 entry, doors 8:30pm Hey. The good news is I finally got a show sorted for the holidays, and it's with Baby Pancakes which makes it even better. Entry is 3, the pricier end of the local gig scale, but it's the only show of the holiday and we're working extra hard writing new songs to make it worth every penny. I think this is the first time we've headlined the Jug so be gentle. The show with Sunset Cinema Club didnt happen in the end, but they're playing the Flapper on the 14th of April so you should check that out. In other news I got elected as Vice President of the IndieRock society at Nottingham U. I had to make a speech while people unicycled past the window. exiciting times. Bryn has been feeling miserable so he locked himself away from sunlight and has been watching X-files video after X-files video. Andrew scored the winning goal for his team, and David has been checking out his sexuality in London so Bryn tells me. Anyways now you're all up to date. Hopefully catch you guys over Easter RaLPh |
