Shoal Bay on Port Stephens Harbour is a Near North Coast town less than 2 hours drive North of Sydney with beautiful clean beaches, surrounding headlands, bush and waterways.
It is situated 3km (2 miles) East of Nelson Bay CBD and is the first Bay inside the entrance to Port Stephens Harbour. It has unpolluted water and a clean, white, sandy, beach almost 3km long with a comprehensive group of shops at its centre. Most importantly it has a very friendly atmosphere.
Port Stephens Coaches leave Sydney (Eddy Avenue Coach Terminal No. 14) daily. Regular local 'Port Stephens' coach services connect with North and South bound Greyhound coaches or Trains at Newcastle Rail Station Interchange.
