My job is workshop oriented .Being a Mechanical engineer , this is quite understandable.

I work in the manufacturing department of an organization producing power distribution equipment ( Transformers --- to be precise !! )
As we do the complete manuacturing , therefore the setup includes everything from the fragile winding (coil) shop to the rough n tough Steel Fabrication.
I have worked everywhere ( -------------- >>> Almost !!! )
Manufacturing operations here range from initial slitting of the silicon steel roll ( a special steel sheet , about 0.3 mm thick ) coated with a layer of silicon and used in the manufacturing of the Core of the transformer - to the complete testing of the finished transformer and , even installation and repairs in case of large ratng units. So you can guess , and rightly so , that our factory is kinda HUGE !! . |
