Do Not Charge for
Nonprofit Website Design
We create websites for the pure enjoyment of designing. As a volunteer in the community, we give of our time and talent to assist nonprofits in developing a web presence.
We specialize in information websites — we do not design or provide
shopping carts, forums, guest books, banners, pop-up ads, audio, music,
and etc. We use only the amount of text and graphics as is absolutely
necessary to present the information. Additionally, we do not design websites
that contain pornography, gambling, mlm, get-rich-quick, illegal or any
other offensive material.
We provide counters and design feedback forms — if your web host provides the required scripts.
We
do not charge to design information websites, however we give quality
time and dedication to each website we design. We take each request in
the order it is received. So, while we are hard at work on one website,
you can be assured we will give you the same time and dedication when
working on yours.
Do You Require Webmaster Services?
We do not charge to design your website. We do not retain ownership or copyright to any of your web files. We retain backup files in the event of loss or damage.
However, websites require a webmaster. Once a website is published to the Internet, it is not maintenance free. Even if a website is static (requiring no updates), the site should be monitored for broken links, corrupted files, obsolete material, etc. Visitors will not return to a site that has broken links or outdated information.
We offer webmaster services for the websites we design. This service can be just monitoring, a one-time repair or regular monthly maintenance. After we determine the scope of your needs, we can give you a quote for webmaster services.
