Back to Singapore mainland

You'd learn something new everyday:
There are altogether 40 Outward Bound schools across the world, in countries such as Indonesia, Japan, Canada, Finland, Australia and Kenya.

Sudden inspirations or cravings:
watch a lot of TV

Back from OBS just yesterday, I had a long 15-hour sleep. Aaahh...bliss...=)

The 3-day camp at OBS was just within expectations. I was pretty contented being able to climb up the rockwall two times and wobble across all those high-wire/rope/log stuff once and basically surviving. It has been nice getting to know some of the scholars in my group (known as a watch), although it was obvious that majority of them were introverts who were probably quite comfortable with there just being me and a few more people talking all the crap. And I'm not even an extrovert myself. Hahahaha..

However, what surprised me was the OBS campsite itself. It had undergone some major renovations and expansion. Less mosquitoes, non-rusty beds, newer linens, cleaner grounds and better food -- just some of the very welcomed improvements. Hehe. 3 days is really not a lot of time to spend in a activity-oriented camp like OBS. I know of so many other activities that we should try too. I'm quite sad that we didn't get to canoe, for one. =P

No newspaper/TV/computer for 3 days, I'm having a major language mental block here. Argh.

I'm not sure how the other participants feel, but I don't think I've gained any extreme enjoyment/enlightenment/general benefits from the camp. I don't foresee gaining any of that from the upcoming NACLI camp either. The camp starts tomorrow, lasting 6 days. Argh. Sigh. Stay tuned for the next entry next week.

I think I might sound more positive if I had written this yesterday. I'm in a disagreeable/anti-social/non-excitable mood today. =P

This is all I get after waiting for 3 days?
