The swimming pool was extremely crowded. There had to be at least 3 groups of swimming classes. One group was of only kids, clad in their pajamas over the swimming gear. Typical, probably to simulate more resistance. The second group was of middle aged women. I think it was an adult swimming class. They didn't really swim much, despite the prompting from their coach. The third, consisted of men, pretty good in swimming already, so I'm guessing they were in some sort of a life-saving course.

Know why I know so much about them? Cos I got so pissed trying to swim, in the end I just sat by the side to watch those people swim. Urgh.

It was horrible. Okay, for one, I swim the breadth of the swimming pool because I don't think I can make it the full length - 50m. Normally that wouldn't pose any problems, but somehow, yesterday, almost everybody was swimming length-wise and trying to swim from one side of the pool to the other for me is as tough as trying to cross the expressway at peak hour. Because I know that I'm in the wrong, for cutting into their lanes, I'm normally the one to give way. I even managed to whisper a few "sorry"s when I was not drowning. I can't tread water very well ok and it really poses a great danger to my life when the person swims so slowly across my way...in frog-style. argh.

Not to mention the way those frog-style people caresses me face, my arm or whatever when they swim pass me. Frankly, I think they're taking too much space. =P

Maybe because of the sheer number of people in that pool, the water was especially murky, my nose got more irritated than normal, I might be allergic to people, or I might have just taken in too much water while trying to survive.
