it's been a productive day of work for me - woke up before 10am [miracle #1!] and after bumming in front of the computer for a while, finally decided to move my laptop upstairs again, to get some work done. so i finally finished that essay i started a week ago. actually, that's all i managed to get done today, but somehow, it feels oddly satisfying, cos that essay has been on my mind, and troubling me for the whole week.

the weather was beautiful today, sun rays shining into the dining room, lighting the room up into this golden glow.

i made peanut butter and chocolate cookies last night, but i didn't really eat much of it, firstly because i don't have the appetite for anything [miracle #2!] and secondly because i don't really like peanut butter anyway. clement (who stays in the house too) liked green bean soup, so i wanted to cook some green bean soup today too. unfortunately it turned out to be a failure, so that was vaguely demoralizing. i ended up throwing that whole pot of green mush away, because someone jokingly commented "what's that? fried rice ah?" man, completely broke my heart. he managed to dash out of the kitchen as someone held me back, before i kicked his ass. haha.

now that i think of it, today's not been the most productive day of my life, i've had difficulties concentrating, and keeping away from the internet. but i feel very contented now. and we all know why. haahaha...sorry man, i couldn't resist that. alvin's read the last 3 entries, and has been so smug about what i said. man, i really have to stop talking about him now.

psst, he cooked dinner.
