after writing that misery-filled shift of work yesterday, i came home, whined for about an hour before i went straight to bed. i only intended to take a short nap, cos the pain was really irritating me. [no, it doesn't hurt that bad, but it irritates.] as usually, intentions don't ever translate to reality, and i woke up this morning only at 5am. i slept a glorious 9 hours. woohoo. which effectively deemed my weekend quite useless actually.

the sleep apparently did me good, the swellings already gone down, though there's still this mysterious bump where the sting is, looking like a pimple, i'm gonna leave it alone just to see if it'll go away on its own.

it was hediously warm today, so i'm not very productive in my work. i did discover to my pleasant surprise, however, that the social pscyh chapter that i finished this morning is going to last me the next 2 weeks. and the international relations articles i read will likely last me till next week as well. i finished enough of my jap homework to last at least 2 weeks. which means i'm actually doing too much work in advance. woah. new concept. hahahaha...which is good, i guess, i still need quite a lot of time to work on my GIS courses. i've been procrastinating for too long....

i managed to persuade alvin to go vegetarian for a week. he's amazed by the level of inner peace i achieve. though actually i don't think he can sustain this for long - he's too much of a meat eater, i swear. i have it easy since i don't eat much meat to start with, i'm perfectly fine with bland food, and i actually like vegetables. i however, cannot become a complete vegan, cos i know i can't give up cakes and ice-cream. heh.

by the way, i answered these 50 questions, finally i couldn't resist from participating in this trend started by winnie. i don't think everyone wants to know these 50 things about me, so go there only if u're severely bored. but i did have fun answering them. heh.

and finally, as a comment with blatantly obvious intentions, how come only joen is leaving messages for me in my gbook these days? do i *gasp* only have one regular reader?! only joen appreciates me, i see. hahaha...
