i love my friends.

last night, went out with cheryl, wallace, jinghua and agnes, at newton circus, eating exorbitantly priced hawker food. one coconut costs $2.50! daylight robbery..but what to do, i won't get any more coconut once i leave. so i bought 2. hiak. also, we finally got to see the picture of the girl with jinghua now. the poor girl. haha...i had to describe wallace's love interest to everyone else, cos i was the only one who's seen her. i was the only one who's seen jinghua's love interest too [as in real life.] hmm. interesting...

anyhow, we got to the topic of when we may meet again, and i told them of how i may not be back next year. maybe i'll go to paris with them at the end of this year though, maybe. i don't remember, didn't i promise to go to disneyland with tk? or i was thinking about going to italy too, since poachie will be there. or maybe i'll go to new york, depending on how things go. hmm.

then today, meeting up with my rgs friends was fun too. we celebrated mingchen's birthday in advance, with cake, song and all. we went to the raffles hotel to hang out, which is of course where i got the singapore sling. yum yum. addy de-shelled the peanuts, throwing the shells onto the floor. tsk tsk. but i shall not complain, since she was actually feeding me the peanuts. hahaha...i had a serious overdose of peanuts tonight. over dinner, while the other people had proper food, i ate the peanuts. herbal steamed/boiled peanuts. eek. sick of peanuts now.

similarly, we talked about our holiday plans. new york. greece. italy. i wonder what are the chances of us travelling together again [i went to spain with poachie, ming, xinyi and jia last summer.]

interestingly, our holiday plans tend to be a topic of discussion whoever i go out with. my good friends at least. trying to find some common time we can go somewhere together. trying to find an alternative to just waiting for everyone to come back to singapore. i know of a junior in uiuc, who has only been travelling with his non-uiuc friends so far. i think he makes more sense - to spend your holiday with people that you don't usually get to see. which makes me quite keen to travel with my friends. sigh. otherwise, it'll be so long before i see them again...sigh.

i've finally met up with all the friends i want to see. so i'm happy.

and a bit drunk now [from both the alcohol and the fun], so i think i should go to sleep. tomorrow is family day. quite important.
