Mood: a little irritated Happiness of the day: Cooked a rather delicious lunch. Event of the week: Attending a Destiny's Child concert tonight. This weekend hasn't been too constructive at all. bleah. Of course, I had a lot of fun on friday night, as I mentioned yesterday. Then what happened to saturday?
Hmm...first, I woke up rather late, just about early enough to have morning, but late enough to have lunch, ahem ahem. Then I went to shaun's place, to watch some lion dance related video tapes. It's quite amazing how after having just little bit of fundamental knowledge about lion dance, I appreciate it so much more now. I still remember about say 6 years ago, I had to cover the Lion Dance competition in Singapore, for the newspapers. digression: Picture little cute me, going around asking questions from the organisers, the participants, red in the face out of shyness and still trying to act cool, like a reporter should be. yups. the sweet old days of journalism. Anyway, about the lion dance, I was already quite impressed then, though I didn't understand what they were doing. So I wonder if perhaps I will like it even more if I saw the same competition again. I wonder.
I came back from shaun's place at about 4pm+, then very interestingly, I don't remember what happened to the remainder of the day. OK, I went out for dinner with Li, ended up at a foodcourt where we just ate and talked about more than 2 hours. Then, I went home. And what happened? I know I fell asleep at about 12, and I don't remember what i was doing before that. Sigh...the ultimate art of bumming is not to not remember how you managed to waste your time away without realising it. Man, I'm good, isn't it?
In a way, it's not that bad, since I don't have that much work to do this weekend anyway. But it's still a waste, that I didn't just take the opportunity to catch up on other things, like reading, like the script, like emails and blah blah. For once, I was free. And I didn't do anything. argh. I'm such a bum!!! And damn it, it's already sunday! sigh.
