You'd learn something new everyday:
The cheetah can run 100m in 3 seconds.

Sudden inspirations or cravings:
Go sunbathing

I've been thinking a lot. Ahem. Don't give me that look.

I was just trying to prepare for potential scholarship interviews. The usual, preparing standard answers for standard questions. Why do you like chemical engineering? Why do you want to work for us? Duh?

Then I realised that I don't have the answers. I have too much integrity to prepare crappy standard answers. When I finally come up with a supposed ideal answer, I found it so "soul-less" (Haha) and meaningless that I didn't like them. I just thought, I'd might as well tell them, " Oh, I have no idea why I prefer chemical engineering. I just know that chemical engineers get paid better. Oh, and it's not that I want to work for you, I would really prefer you give me the money and leave me alone after that."

I mean, shouldn't they appreciate candidates who have the honesty and courage to tell the truth? I just don't think anyone of my age is actually prepared to choose their career for the next 10 years just yet, so why force us to make that kind of decision now then force us to justify it? Their psychology is totally baffling.

Once heard about this guy who was taking the final exams and was asked to do an essay on " What is courage? ". He handed the paper in like 10 minutes later, and the essay read, " This is. " Wow...cool... but I didn't get to hear what happened to him after that. Think he got an 'A'. I wonder if he might have failed if it had been a Singaporean school. Oh, but of course, Singaporeans would not have that kind of cheek anyway.

I guess, when the day comes, I shall just suffocate my conscience and come up with something as sickening as, " Chemical engineering has been my passion for that past 10 years at least, ever since I realised that chemical engineers are the people who designed the washing detergent. " Hahaha...I like that answer. I think it would sound a lot better if I follow it with a saccharine sweet smile, wouldn't it? Hehe.

What do chemical engineers actually do anyway?
