I am sick. I do not mean mentally, though I know some of my closest friends would not agree. No, I am physically sick. I was running a fever yesteday, which I successfully slept away after eating Panadol. Now, this is worse: I have sore throat.
This is horrible. I can practically see my whole throat swell up. And not that it is not swollen already. I think this is made worse by the fact I am wearing a turtle neck dress, which needless to say was already tight on my originally slim and slender [hehe] neck. Hehe..And it's not likely that I have grown fatter at my neck.Argh...I'm suffocating... I wish I can say that I will be getting well soon, but really, I see this illnesss continuing for at least the next few days to come. Can I not see a doctor? whine...whine...whine... I actually wanted to become a doctor when I was young and amazingly, I had always felt very repulsive against visiting the doctor. Even now. At least I know how to take pills now. I have never succeeded in swallowing pills till I was around 15 years old. My mom used to get real irritated pounding all my pills into powder before mixing them into water for me to drink. I used to get really embarrassed telling the doctor that I do not take pills and asking him to give me medicine in syrup. Then one day, the doctor happily told me that if I want to take the correct dose in syrup form, I would probably have to drink one litre of it every day. Argh. That was when I knew that it was time for me to learn to take pills. By hook or by crook. But lucky for me, the doctor was actually quite nice and actually told us that her wife also couldn't take pills until she married him. Hehe...if I could marry a doctor, what's a few pills? Anyway, I have digressed. The point today is: I am sick and I am feeling horrible. Argh. |
