Mood: patriotic Fact of the day: event of the week: flying off this sunday
I didn't mention this in my "event of the week" thingy, but I went to a gay pub last night! Yippee...so fun so fun...I didn't even know there was a decent gay scene in Singapore! But yes, indeed there is and damn, I'm impressed.
The pub itself wasn't really big in terms of space, but the partying spirit was great. I don't know why, but the guys there looked better and more well-built. And most importantly, remember the formula I mentioned the last time about dance+booze? Man, good music + solid booze = dance + fun! Since there weren't any straight guys to attract anyway, I think I *really* let loose yesterday.
I got home like about 4am, with agnes. It was actually agnes' gay friends who brought us to that pub, and those guys were just solid fun too. Luckily they were with us, or we wouldn't have known which pub to go to anyway. It was the first time agnes realised that they were gay, and I think it's quite a shock to her. But I was just thinking, it's probably a good thing they are actually gay, since they do look quite gay and if they're not, it's quite a mismatch, isn't it?
I think maybe I'm still suffering from a hangover or something, talking nonsense. But wow, this is an experience that's shown me yet another side to singapore. Will keep it in mind.
Oh, by the way, it's national day today. I wish I can go to NDP, but too bad, no tickets. Maybe next year then.
