Mood: dazed Fact of the day: event of the week: birthday today!
Today is my birthday. Hmm...probably the quietest birthday I've ever had for the last 10 years. I almost forgot it's my own birthday, actually, because the first thing we did in the morning was go back to my grandma's place in M'sia for my grandfather's death anniversary. Offering incense, praying and blah, weren't exactly what I considered my usual birthday rituals.
Not that it's a bad thing. I really liked spending some quiet time with myself, and relax. Surprisingly, I wasn't as introspective as I've been for the past birthdays. What I did the past year, whether I've matured, blah blah...what the hell, I don't care anymore. The past year is important to me, but I think I've thought enough about it for the past 2 months at least to not have to go through the same thinking process again today.
Some of my friends called me up though, just to offer me birthday wishes. Angel even called from the States. I was really so damn touched. Of course, not that I expected my friends to call, which probably made the calls even sweeter.
I'm 20 today. Oh well...
