Mood: excited Fact of the day: The first Hard Rock Cafe outlet was opened in London. Singapore's outlet is the ninth outlet to be opened worldwide. event of the week Haircut and shopping tomorrow: family stuff.
When the plane was about to land, I closed my eyes. Because I genuinely felt so happy that I could cry. The plane circled the air about about 10 minutes because the air traffic was too heavy, and I felt myself twisting my own fingers. Luckily Po Chin was not sitting with me, or she would surely laugh at me. And when I finally caught sight of my dad's head sticking out from the crowd, I couldn't stop grinning. Yup, I'm really happy to be home.
So much has changed: Bus fares in Singapore has increased, my dad's car has changed, my room was temporarily taken over by my cousin and was hence slightly redecorated. Yet many thing still remain the same too, like my family, my piano... Things that I've been thinking about for such a long time; things I miss so much. I was so excited, I started squealing when I saw Chinese newspapers and magazines. When I ate a longan, I was so grateful I couldn't stop smiling.
I've been grinning and smiling so much over the past 3 hours that I'm in Singapore, I feel quite silly actually. Over dinner, my mom commented that I'm the most widely-travelling member in the family, in a mildly accusing tone. But I'm quite sure she can tell, that ultimately, I'm still the happiest only at home.
Anyway, the tour in Spain and Morocco is wonderful, shall talk more about it tomorrow maybe. For now, I just want to lie in my own bed, listen to some Chinese music and maybe eat some more longans. I'm in bliss....
