Mood: excited Fact of the day: event of the week Leaving for London on Sunday!
By the way, I got so freaking drunk on Friday, I feel so ashamed of myself now. Lynn and I really wanted to finish most of the vodka, then leave just a little of the vodka in the fridge. Then when Alvin and Josh come back to the apartment for the 2nd half of summer, they'll think that we're some sort of alcoholic party animals. Hahaha..not that we really want that reputation, but we just want to see their reaction. Anyway, because of that, we drank really quite a bit on Friday. I'm so embarrassed. I started doing stupid things like whining loudly how nobody loves me. Lynn called Shaun and another guy up, just to tell them that we're drunk. I didn't see the purpose of that and frankly, if I were shaun or the other guy, I would be freaked out if she calls me just like that. So the next day, she had to call shaun to apologise for sounding insane. Hahahaha.... it was funny. To hear her scold me for sounding too coherent when I was talking to shaun. He wouldn't have guessed that I drank more than Lynn and is basically a lot more drunk than her.
But everything's fine now. I didn't really suffer from a hangover or anything like that. In fact, I think it's a pretty good experience. While I've gotten high on alcohol before, I've never been that drunk before. Frankly, though I like the insanity, I don't really like the symptoms like dizziness in the head and a queasy stomach. So I guess that should be the last time I go on a dranking binge like that. Let's just stick to elegant cocktails, not hardcore liquor.
Today is a whole new beginning for me. Almost anyway. Because today is finally the start of my summer holiday! Yes! I have completed my summer course, since I took my final exam today. Final term paper is due on Wednesday, but I'm not too concerned about that. All I can think of is that from today, until 21 August, I don't have to study, or work, or do anything constructive! Man, I have great plans for my summer break. Before I leave for London, I will tidy up my photo album, so it'll be presentable to show my parents when I go back to Singapore. Back in Singapore, I will crash the university orientation and hang out with my friends. I will go out and re-acquaint myself with the local cuisine - another way of saying I'll go on a cross-island eating binge. I will revamp this website and basically update everything. If I have time, I should probably try to finish the cross-stitch thingy I left behind last year. So many things to do! Naturally, some of them won't get done. I'm thinking the cross-stitch thingy is probably of last priority. But hopefully I'll have time to do the website too. Think I'll start thinking about the new design now. Should I use blue again..should I use more pictures..maybe I should delete some of the text...maybe I should add more text..maybe I should move the journal somewhere else...hmm... ideas ideas ideas... | |
