Just watched You've Got Mail with PoChin. It was soooo sweet...hehe...

I like romantic comedies. Poach was telling me about her favourites, and we both agreed that The Truth About Cats And Dogs was the best we've watched so far. Actually, I couldn't really remember the show very clearly, but I remember being genuinely very touched.

Now that I remember, I know why I was so touched. The female lead was not beautiful.

I have to admit I am not exactly the most attractive person on Earth. I can basically make a list of everything I don't like about myself. I used to be very self-conscious about these faults, but I now I don't care anymore. (Though I am sure my tummy is still pretty visible..hehe..)

In Cats and Dogs, the girl was similarly feeling very inferior over her looks, though she was confident of her intelligence, wit and stuff. Just like me! Though I know that some people will rather categorise my "wit" as corniness. humph..

The point is, the guy in the show still declared his love, choosing her over a blonde model. In a very adorable movie-style way nonetheless...ooh...so sweet..haha..

Maybe that's why I would find it harder to identify with Meg Ryan romantic comedies. She's too adorable for me. Oh, but of course the more lesbian-inclined part of me still makes her movies pretty enjoyable. Hehe.

Yes, I am easily touched, I get soppy easily, I am a sucker for cliched stuff. What's wrong with that? humph.

Tell me what u think.
