Mood: not really happy, not unhappy either. Fact of the day: I have small hands and feet - for my physical build at least. event of the week Shaun's birthday this saturday. The chinese new year dinner last night went great. Not absolutely fantastic, but it's good enough. The restaurant we went to was lousy, the lady boss was mean, the food was yucky and the portions were small. [In a way, lucky the yucky food came in small portions...we still had a lot of leftovers, by the way...] But I felt very comfortable with who I was with and in fact, because I was feeling a little "high", basically my friends and I make our table appear really rowdy and enthusiastic. Which was fun! Hehehe...
I was wearing this cheongsam top that I bought in california and I was glad nobody thought it looked really horrible. I forot to bring my camera, but hopefully the people who took pictures with me will have the courtesy of developing a copy for me. I'd love to see for myself how I looked in that thing on a photo. Oh well...anyway now I have something to wear for ALL my chinese new year dinners. Hehe.
Sang a duet with Alvin too. His voice is really wonderful so I'm not surprised everyone was really impressed by him. Luckily I didn't sing too badly or I was would have totally humiliated. Y'know, with the direct contrast with Alvin's singing, I'd better be good enough. Lucky nobody really laughed that much. Hahah...
Anyway the night ended a little disappointing though. Because there wasn't enough time, there wasn't enough time for all of us to perform, so the girls didn't get to perform though we've been practising so dilligently for the past week. They're okay with it, but really it's because they're such gentle girls by nature. I felt so disappointed....
After the celebrations, now it's back to work though. I still have tonnes to homework to do. Argh. I hate it when I have to kick myself out of the festive mood just so that I can finish my homework. I liked being festive! Sigh....is chinese new year already over? sigh....
