I suddenly realise why I'm suddenly so enthousiastic these days, re-organising my closet and drawers, re-decorating my room, re-setting my priorities and stuff.

I have a delayed reaction to the new year.

Somehow, when I was on holiday, the 1st of January just passes me by. Even if it's the all hyped up millennium new year. Somehow, it just never registered in my mind that it's yet another new year. A fresh start. A time to take stock of the past year and see if I've been a good girl.

So now, back in campus, back to a more familiar environment, somehow, I must have subconsciously decided that I've been a rather bad girl. My room is a boring mess, my studies was acedemically satisfactory but intellectually un-interesting, my finances are pretty strained, my health is not doing too well...blah blah blah. Basically, I should be able to do better. So off I go, off to attempt to improve my life. Usually people do their resolutions on the first day of the year. But I guess it's never too late huh.

But it's going to take time. So much to do....
