Yes, my finals have finally finished. phew. I did pretty ok for most of my classes, except I've not gotten my french results yet and like I've said, I don't want to screw it up man.

In 2 hour's time, I will be setting off for my californian trip. I'm so freaking excited I don't know what to do. It's just so weird. My first winter in the States. In california. Travelling. Seeing places. What I've always wanted to do. 2 hours. It's so incredibly unreal, yet I know it is real. Sheesh.

It's not the first time I'm travelling without my parents, obviously, but it's the first time I'm travelling with people who are not my best friends either. I'm going with 4 other singaporeans from UIUC. 3 guys and another girl. Will I get along well with them? Some people say that after a trip like that, we either come back best pals, or...ahem... I of course hope it's the former..but there's an equal chance that it will be the "ahem". I wonder why I'm always so paranoid about the friendship dynamics stuff...

Whatever it is, I'm determined to have fun. No one's gonna be able to destroy my holiday. I deserve this break man...

I'm not bringing my laptop along, so I don't think I'll be able to update this journal regularly until I come back. But I'll be writing in my notebook. The primitive way, with a pen. Ahem. Anyway, I will be back by 13 Dec.
