I'm looking forward to my winter break already. Drool drool drool...I'll be going to California for about 3 weeks, before I come back to UIUC for my spring semester/ And it's really not that far away...merely another 3 weeks! Gosh...

My finals are in about 2 weeks' time and frankly, I'm not prepared for exams at all. I've never been a conscientious student and I'm not ashamed of it. Somehow, this has always been my style. Not only with work and studies, but everything else. My interests never last any longer than a few months most of the time, though I always go back to them after a break.

But I guess then this is to my disadvantage, here in UIUC, since the workload is such that one cannot really afford to slack at all. Not as much as I do anyway. Just today, I had yet another close shave. I had a major lab report due today and last night at 1am, it wasn't even half-done. Of course, I am the queen of last minute work, I still managed to hand it in today and bravo, my automated car works. But sheesh, I'm amazed at myself.

It's been a tiring day though, with that lab report hanging over my mind all the time. I still have a lot of homework due tomorrow and looking at the time now, and how lethargic I am feeling now, I'd bet tonight is yet another long working night.

But it's ok. I feel like I deserve this little punishment. I should have worked harder before I left for my thanksgiving break. Too late to say anything now anyway. Sigh...back to work and work and more work.
