Children of families who go to Christ the King attend home-based catechism classes. The parents who teach these classes use materials recommended or provided by the church ( Walking by Faith, Brown-Roa) Currently, the children are divided into three groups :
Group 1 (K2 to P2), Friday
Group 2 (P3 and P4), Friday
Group 3 (P5 and P6), Tuesday

Learning about God's love.

For younger children, parents try to incorporate fun and meaningful activities into the lessons. Children colour their names and paste them onto a chart (above) They are reminded that God knows everyone of them by name and loves them dearly.

Children "create" with their little hands too. Here they learn that while God creates out of nothing, they can create only with materials given by God. They are taught that everything they have used to make their balloon people comes from something God has created eg paper, rubber from trees, colours from flowers and plants etc.

Parents and children from all three groups get together on the first Friday of every month for praise and worship. Below: children celebrate Easter together.
