What's happening here? Why is the photograph so badly taken? What are they doing to the baby?

The children are play-acting. Paul's the priest and he's baptizing the baby (don't be alarmed, it's only plastic) with holy water. The other children take on the roles of parents, god-parents and relatives. And if you are wondering why the photograph is so bad…well that's because Raphael Oh is playing the part of a professional photographer.

Picture does have an unusual "glow". Good work, photographer. You are truly special. Oops! Paul should have put on long trousers instead of shorts and the ladies need a lesson or two on how to handle babies.
