And other useful information
Kappa Delta Phi NAS began in 1971 when 23 women of Husson College in Bangor, Maine desired to create a sorority with the same beliefs as Kappa Delta Phi Fraternity. With the help and guidance of that fraternity we were able to grow under the same spirit and principles. The two were to share simular concepts and ideas, but operate seperately.

The mission statement of Kappa Delta Phi NAS is to encourage the higher educational ideals and practices in our institutions, to promote a spirit of good citizenship, individual character and fellowship; and to oppose discrimination on the basis of race, color, or creed, in order to strengthen and preserve the bonds of sisterhood.

In our sorority every letter, item, document, and image has a meaning and stays in the heart of every Kappa.
