Welcome to one of the many bonus features found on the Shining Force 3 Premium Disc, this feature allows you to create a Shining Force 3 Scenario 3 save game. If you are missing scenario 1 or 2 from your collection as it will allow you to play as characters who you would not normal be able to play as, if you didn't have a save game from Scenario 1 or 2. However this feature is pretty useless if you don't have a copy of scenario 3. Another bonus feature is that it allows you to name your characters with English letters, sadly it can only take up to 6 digits. So names like Dantares would end up like Dantar. This is a little odd as if you used an English scenario 1 then carried the save game over to a Japanese version of scenario 2 then, their names would still all be in English and correctly spelled. This is because no character's Japanese name is more than 6 symbols long. Right let's get on with making are save file.
After Gabriel, has ask you a couple of questions about if you want to use this feature, he will then start asking you questions about what happened in Scenario 1 and 2, these are the question that will make the save file. Now lets make a Shining Force 3 Scenario 3 save file. Question numbers marked in (red) will only appear if you gave a certain answer for a previous question, see below for more details. All Gabriel questions must be answered either Yes or No, choose your answers wisely.

If you answered YES to both questions 30 & 11 then Pendolf can join Julian's team. I'm not 100% sure how question 32 work as I didn't think you needed to speak to Unoma to get him to join you.
You can't decide on how many of the refugees you saved with the PD so it's none or all of them, also Ratchet had to be spoken with 2 times to get him to join you once in Quonus then in Vagabond original. Sadly you can't create a finished scenario 3 game for the Premium Disc, and I wouldn't recommend that you try to use this save game to play through the PD as you will just be killed by the enemies.
After you have answered all of Gabriel questions, you will then be asked to name all 58 playable characters. As mention above you will be able to name all the character in English, just a shame there isn't a hidden English mode in scenario's 2 and 3. Finally you will be asked to save your newly created Shining Force 3 Scenario 3, save game.
