As Jamie and Karr advanced to their destination, a bright blast could be seen in the distance. With the blast fading already, Jamie and Karr landed on a nearby cliff and noticed Shin laying face first in the dirt. Majin Buu was standing not far from him and Babidi was there too. Piccolo, Krillin, Goten, and Trunks were on the opposite side of the cliff looking down at the commotion. Vegeta soon appeared and seemed to be picking a fight with Buu. Jamie glanced at Karr, "Hmm..I wonder who that small green guy is...but it's obvious the big pink guy is the monster Shin was talking about." Karr seemed to be thinking at the moment as he watched below him. Vegeta began fighting Buu and Jamie sat up a bit. "Karr, now is our chance, I'll go revive Shin and you go heal Gohan" Jamie said. Karr glanced at Jamie, "Gohan?" "Yes I felt his energy drop when the big blast went off, we can't let him die...go now ok." Then she hopped down from the cliff and slowly moved toward Shin, who was too close to the battle between Buu and Vegeta for comfort. Karr was unsure of Jamie's decision, but flew off to heal Gohan anyway. As Jamie tried to go unseen, she was dodging flying rocks and blasts from their fight. This pink guy is really strong, at least I have my power drain formula in case Vegeta can't handle it..She finally reached Shin and took the healing potion from her pocket, then she rolled Shin over on his back and lowered the vial to his lips. He was really weak and slowly drank the potion and opened his eyes. Jamie smiled down at him, "Well welcome back Shin, and heheh sorry for the bad taste...I didn't really have time to make it better." Shin sat up and blinked, "How..." then he turned his head quickly to see Vegeta losing to Buu and he kind of growled as he talked. "That Majin Buu...no one will be able to stop him..." Jamie blinked, "Oh, so Majin Buu is his name, well I think we can stop him." she pulled out the power drain formula and shook it lightly in her hand and smiled some. "See this? It's a potion that will drain his power level to 1 for half an hour, all I have to do is get it on him, then you guys can beat him up!" Shin had a sweatdrop for a second and looked confounded. Jamie looked up at Piccolo and the others then back to Shin. "I'll go hit Buu with this formula, after that it's up to you guys to destroy him...so you should let Piccolo and Krillin know ok." with that she walked slowly behind Buu leaving Shin standing there with a strange look on his face and Jamie giggled a bit when she looked back at him. Aww he's so cute when he's surprised..hehe...She had the potion in hand and was about 10 feet away from Buu who was beating Vegeta to the ground, it looked awful so Jamie wasted no time and hurled the vial at Buu. The vial shattered on Buu's back and absorbed quickly into his skin. Buu stopped punching Vegeta and turned around and glared at Jamie. "Why girl throw stuff at Buu?" Jamie stepped back a few steps and hoped Buu wouldn't attack her. Buu just stood there staring at her for a few seconds and took a step toward her. Man this guy is scary looking...why hasn't the potion worked yet...Jamie half growled to herself and got in a fighting stance. Buu tilted his head and grinned, "Girl want to fight Buu?" Jamie stood motionless and a low pitched sound came from Buu along with a black aura swirling around him. The aura finally disappeared and Buu looked at himself then back at Jamie. "You do something to Buu? You die!" Jamie blinked and took another step back but he punched her in the face sending her flying back severel feet. She sat up slowly and could already feel Buu's power level dropping by the second, she put a hand to her face trying to ignore the pain and looked at Shin who was running toward her. Shin kneeled next to Jamie and smiled, "You did it! His power level is so low." Jamie being in too much pain to do much, layed back down and groaned. "Now...you and the others...need to destroy him...quickly.." Krillin and Piccolo had already sensed the power drop and had commenced the beating of Buu, who was trying desperately to defend himself. Shin looked to the others and back at Jamie, "I think they have it handled, Buu can't even fight back." Just then Karr and Gohan flew to the scene and landed by Shin and Jamie. Gohan immediately ran to help the others and Karr started freaking out when he saw Jamie laying on the ground, "Ahh! Jamie are you alright?!" he said and quickly made her drink a healing potion. Jamie winced at the awful flavor and sat up feeling much better. Vegeta then got to his feet and began attacking Buu as well. It was almost embarassing to watch as Buu was surrounded by saiyans, a namek, and a human, clearly Buu was finished. The fun was soon over when Buu exploded into a huge cloud of black dust that covered everything. Everyone just stood there with a big sweatdrop and blinked. Karr stood up strait unefected by the dust and raised a hand, "Well Buu is dead that's for sure!" Everyone did an anime fall at once and Jamie stood up crossing her arms. "Heheh well I guess my formula had side effects..." The others all thanked Jamie for the help and went home to shower, Karr and Jamie stood side by side watching the others leave. Shen walked next to Jamie and smiled, "That was very brave, thank you." Jamie half blushed and put a hand behind her head, "Haha well your welcome Shin, I was happy to do it...uh minus the punch in the face." Shin smiled a bit more and Jamie thought he looked kinda funny covered in black dust, Shin must have heard what she thought because he blushed. "Well I must go for now, maybe I'll see you again sometime Jamie." he said and bowed. Jamie smiled softly and nodded, "Yeah I hope we see eachother again too..." Shin stood up strait and flew into the air, Jamie watched him fly off and she heard something in her mind "goodbye Jamie" Jamie whispered goodbye and Karr turned to her, "Jamie, you like him dont you?" Jamie blinked and turned red, "Huh, what do you mean Karr? I never said that!" Karr crossed his arms, "Sure, anyway we should go now." Jamie nodded and they took to the air back to the lab. |
