- Go to composer, usually under tone settings.
- Key in the numbers, hashes and asterisks as above, just press it once and do not hold down the keys for too long. It usually makes a beep sound but certain numbers do not, so don't panic and think that you didn't key it in, but infact you have. Remember to not key the number in again if you didn't hear a beep cause it changes the length of the sound.
- The numbers in brackets means that you'll have to hold the number for slightly longer until you hear another beep.
- Some Nokia phones may not be able to compose the whole song as the memory of the ringtone on some Nokia phones aren't big enough, but doesn't matter just key in as much as you can until you can't key in anymore, it still sounds fine. Some Nokia phones that do not have a large enough ringtone memory are 8210 and 8250.
- The tempo of the song can be varied according to your needs. My recommended tempo is 100, but it could vary from 90 to 112.
