More Consistent Reaction Times(Mainly Brackets)   First thing you do is put the car in neutral right in front of the first stage line. Then you put the car in 1st, and let it roll while you click on the gas(don't acclerate yet!). Wait until the 3rd light, then punch it. Once you get the hang of this you should be spittin out .50x reaction times and you will never peel out!   Here is the best launch method for H2H. If you start any other way, this way should add anywhere from .05-.100 secs to your H2H time. This launch is similar to the Better Reaction Time launch as stated above. You want to stop right after the first stage line. Wait just a half second before the lights appear(this is the part you need to practice you don't want to be stopped once the lights begin), shift into first, then wait after the second light goes off, then accelerate. I hope this makes sense. Good Luck.   Here is the best shifting method for H2H. When you shift while doing H2H, you can pretty much ignore the dyno rpm. To get the max performance for any H2H car is to almost redline it. Also, since the shifting is so fast, it is hard to be accurate. So with this is mind, I set the shift light about 2 to 3 hundred rpm from the redline to give me a "warning" that I am close to the redline. It works for me.   A turbo or a supercharger, that is the question. Well here is the awnser. The supercharger is proven better than the turbocharger. The supercharger provides more torque and gives you faster launches. While the turbo offers higher top end speeds and turbo lag. Since this is a drag racing game, we don't really need the high top end speed, we need the torque and quickness to get down the strip. A supercharger will give you lesser horsepower than than turbo will. Also, if i am not mistaken, supercharger cost less. So if you ever have the option of a supercharger, get it. Auto-Foul   Don't you hate it when your racing the CPU and you get the blue screen that says "saving Race Data" and it freezes. Well a trick to get out of that is to hit tab, until you see the one of the buttons at the top of the screen are highlighted in yellow, then you hit enter and your just got past the blue screen. Note: You do not win the money if you won the race.   This is how you can get really low times, but can only be done in a computer race. Well what you do is take any car and set it's bracket dial-in low, like 3.1. When the computer lights begin, you begin. It will cause a foul but you can run like 3 secs with a viper. It is just a fun and cool thing to see. |
