| Traditional Course Shifter's Skid Mark Driving School's Traditional Course prepares the student for the Isle of Man Drivers Licence Division written and road exams. The program consists of nine two- hour classes, six hours of behind-the-wheel training, and six hours of observing the training of other drivers. You must be 16 years of age to start driver education. You may register for the traditional driver education course or the home study course by arriving ten minutes prior to class, or by calling(01624) 662275 or (07624) 439394 between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm. |
| Home Study Course Shifter's Skid Mark Driving School's home study course consists of approximately 30 hours of academic study. Six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction and six hours of observin the training of other student drivers. In order to successfully complete the course, the student must pass a final exam with a score of 80 percent. This course satisfies the Isle of Man driver education requirements. | Extended Course Shifter's Skid Mark Driving School's Extended Course is designed for students who desire additional driving instruction. The program consists of Shifter's Skid Mark Driving School's Traditional Course, an additional four hours of behind the wheel training, and the use of Shifter's Skid Mark Driving School's exclusive course of study; Shifter's Skid Mark Driving School Driving Systems. |
| Private Drives Shifter's Skid Mark Driving School's offer private driving instruction tailored to the individual needs of students. Private Driving instruction is designed to help the student who may need additional driving time to improve their driviing skills, to work on a particular driving problem, or to meet the new Isle of Man driver education requirements for teenage drivers, or assistance in completing the driving test. Shifter's Skid Mark Driving School's can scedule an instuctor to pick you up, take you to your driving test, and return you home again.
