Within the unit of Shienar the opportunity exists for growth beyond that of the standard tests and ranking system, reserved for those elite few who have risen to the top in regards to combat and knowledge of the game. These titles epitomize the utmost dedication to the perfection of one's skills in Dagorhir, and are as a result extremely difficult to attain. When a member of Shienar begins the path towards a title, he/she will work with the leaders of the unit to explore the specific requirements that must be completed. |

Ranger - Individuals who are sworm to tirelessly defend the realm against all invaders with ruthless efficiency, a Ranger is an elite fighter who combines speed and finesse to wreak havoc on his enemies. A potential Ranger must demonstrate knowledge of survival in the wilderness, including rope use, fire building, setting up shelter, basic cooking skills, and the ability use stealth when crossing terrain. Finally, he/she must also complete a series of combat trials that test mobility, battlefield awareness, speed, efficiency, and endurance. |

Warlord - A Warlord is a god of the battlefield, fully armored and capable of cutting his way through entire lines of enemies without fearing death. He is renowned for his expertise in numerous fighting styles, and has the ability to single-handedly change the outcome of a battle. A Warlord must own a full suit of armor and a full armory of every weapon type in the game. Finally, he must complete a trial in which he fights in unlimited combat (all combatants armed and armored however they wish), against all members of Shienar, one at a time, starting with the lowest rank and ending with the highest. He keeps all wounds from one combatant to the next, and has only three lives with which he must successfully defeat all members of the unit. |
