This CD was basically "Wired To The Sin" with two extra tracks.
The band had been offered the chance to release a CD through the internet
company peoplesound.com, and four tracks were not enough at the time
which is why the two songs were added. This compilation CD is a good
representation of the band at this time and only poor versions of songs
had been omitted from the track list. The band have since re-released
this EP themselves and copies are available from this website.
The band's site at peoplesound.com has tracks
available for free download. Alone received so many downloads it reached
the number 1 spot in their metal chart for at least three weeks in a
row that the band are aware of.
Words from the band:
"This CD is ace. It represents our early material, and where the
band was at back then really well. The CD cover kicks my ass too!"-
Dan P.
REVIEW
Peoplesound.com
Razorwire deal in a crossbreed metal. The snarls,
riffing and tempo shifts of Dave Mustaine's Megadeth, combined with
a more melodic, tuneful sensibility. At times they even have a hint
of softer rock to go along with the thrash. This is not a bad thing
however, as the two standpoints work well together producing
an effective whole.
